Brian’s P.O.V.

I stood in the living room with a grin on my face seeing Jimmy and then seeing Jason with a swollen face. My heart dropped when I saw him, I did this to him for no reason at all last night. I sighed and looked to Katie and smiled at her. She stood there and shook her head and ran up the stairs leaving me to wonder what in the world I did wrong.

“I hate you,” I heard Jason from the kitchen. I snapped my attention to Jason and sighed. I actually came here to apologize to everyone for the weird night, including Katie. I knew that she was just trying to make friends but seeing her and Jason last night got me ticked. She just got here and there they were flirting and carrying on with one another. I wanted to protect her for some odd reason.

“Jason,” I said with a sigh, I shoved my hands in my pockets and walked into the kitchen and put my hand on his shoulder, “I came to apologize man, I don’t know what got into me,” I said. Jason looked away and a grin came on his face as he grinned.

“Augh I forgive ya!” He stood and wrapped me in a hug making me feel a lot better then I did all night. Michelle was still a little mad but a few kisses and a rocking bed fixed that. Now I am here making things up with Jason and of course Katie since I pretty much ruined her night either her family and friends.

“Can I talk to Katie?” I asked Jimmy and he nodded, sitting down in front of Ruby who looked lost in her thoughts. I nodded and thanked him before going up the stairs taking two at a time. I came up to the top of the stairs and sighed, trying to figure out which she was in. I knew that the one at the end of the hall was Jimmy’s and that there was three guests rooms and that one of them was his parents. So, I took my guess and knocked on the one the door that was next to Jimmy’s.

“What?” I heard Katie’s voice and felt myself smile and my heart skip a beat.

“It’s Brian,” I said softly close to the door. I heard her sigh heavily and a lock un-locking on the door. She swung it open and I saw a sweep of anger plastered on her face as she wiped her eyes with her palms.

“You alright?” I asked full of concern. I felt like her crying was my fault and I wouldn’t be able to forgive myself if she was hurt. She looked away and sighed.

“Yeah,” She said with a twist of anger. She wouldn’t even look up at me which hurt.

“I came to apologize,” I said lightly to her. Her head jerked up with a look of confusion which made my stomach grow into knots. This girl could do anything and I would smile at it, she was changing me and I was letting her, I was letting myself fall for another girl.

No! I snapped from my thoughts and looked away dropping her glance. I can’t do this, I was in love with Michelle, I made love to her last night, she was my girl I just can’t let her go like that…can I?

“I didn’t mean to punch Jason,” I said quietly to the floor. “I don’t know why I did,” I lied. I knew exactly why I did but I couldn’t tell her that. Never in a million years I could tell her that. I looked up at her though, seeing her beautiful blue eyes, looking better on her then on Jimmy, maybe that was because she was a girl. Then her smile, God her smile made me melt.

She did too, she gave me hope in her eyes and that beautiful smile on her soft lips that made me want to kiss her, but, I shook my thoughts and grinned, not even knowing if she said anything.

“It was pretty silly huh?” She asked with her accent. I chuckled.

“Yeah, it was,” I agreed. It was stupid that I was falling in love with another girl, or at least that is what I thought I was doing. I sighed and kept telling myself that I was in love with no one other then Michelle and to prove myself that, I am going to ask her to marry me sometime soon. The perfect timing, which is far off from now. “Why don’t you go and finish your breakfast,” I said pointing behind me, “Jimmy will eat it all,” She chuckled which sent my heart into over drive. She brushed past me and I fallowed her down stairs, wanting to get her out of my head.
