Me and Dan both walked out of the hospital together, still looking around to see if there was any life on the streets. Yet again, nothing.

As we were walking I began to realise I didn't feel a presence behind me any more, was Dan still there? I turned around and saw nothing. He had gone. Vanished, again. Just like my nightmare, except it wasn't a dream. The closer I got to where Dan had originally been standing, I noticed a note. I picked it up off the ground and began to read it.

'Daniel, listen. I don't have much time to tell you this but you need to find me. The Dan you saw in the park, the hospital, it was not me. I don't know exactly what it is but it definitely wasn't what you assumed.. Same with Ben, Aja and Wayne. They all aren't real. Please find me-'

At that last sentence there was a rip out of the note so I couldn't finish it. This all suddenly made sense, the Aja I thought I saw last night wasn't her. The Dan I saw at the park, wasn't him. Same probably goes for Ben and Wayne. The thing I didn't understand the most was that if they weren't real, then where were they? What were they? Was I real? Was there a copy of me somewhere else? Are Arrow and River even real? I'm beginning to question life altogether at this point. Slowly, as I looked up my vision began to fade again as I got pulled back into reality, except I wasn't so sure what was real and what was fake at this point.

The words slowly began to get thrown at me again, "Daniel! Daniel, are you okay? Please wake up!" I slowly gained back my vision and all my body strength, which had seemed to disappear before. When I gained full conciousness, I was greeted by a hug, it was Aja.

"I was so worried, I thought you were dead." She whispered in my ear. I closed my eyes, thinking through everything that was said on that note. Was this the real Aja or a fake? I wasn't going to take any chances.

"What have you done with Aja, I know you're not her." I said aggressively whilst pushing her away. Her pupils began to widen.

"What? What happened to you, do you need to go to the hospital?" Said Aja trying to feel my forehead again for another fever. I rejected her. There was no way I was going to that hospital, barely did anything to help anyone and it was probably a death trap like it was to Dan. He was trapped, in his own mind.

"I'm fine. But you obviously aren't. Now tell me where Dan is." I demanded getting up as I did so. She to, got up. This time I noticed her pupils were slits which quickly changed to normal circles as a human would have within a split second.

"Good luck." She hissed as she disappeared? Leaving behind nothing but a pile of ash with something poking out in the middle. It looked as if it was another note, I knelt down and took it out, blowing away the ash. I then realised it was the missing section to the other note. I quickly connected them both together and read the last sentence,

'-Please find me where you last left me'.

I sat there for a few minutes trying to figure out exactly what it meant. The only word that rushed through my mind relating to it was the word 'Hospital'. Which Dan was which? The one lying helplessly in the hospital bed or the one I saw when I 'passed out'. Or where none of them real?

I grabbed my coat and the car keys laying on the kitchen table. I legged it to Ben's car which I assume he didn't need at the minute since he vanished. Though, it wasn't really him was it?

As I was driving the temptation overtook me to go through a red light which I had done when I 'passed out'. I couldn't really do that right now but I felt the need to. Anyway, the hospital was coming up so that urge would disappear.

What seemed to feel like forever which was only about a fair 10 minutes, I found myself outside the hospital. That's when I checked in for Dan. The answer I got left me nervous.

"It says here that he had been checked out around 10 minutes ago." The lady replied.

"By who? Any description or."

"I don't know sir. She had long dark brown hair, that's all I can remember sorry."

That was good enough for me. Aja. She checked him out, and by she I mean it. No wonder she said good luck to me, she went to the hospital herself and got him before I had the chance to. Now what was I supposed to do?

I was about to walk out of the exit thinking things through until I noticed I couldn't. The doors wouldn't budge and the whole building suddenly became silent. I turned around seeing nobody there. It was happening again, but this time my vision was perfectly fine and my brain didn't feel constantly stabbed.

"I assume you're looking for Dan?" A voice emerged from the darkness. I looked around, still nobody there.

"Yes, where the fuck is he you bastard!" I only tend to swear when it was needed, which you can see why this point I tolerated it.

There was no response, this was just getting annoying now. I was about to ask again until a light appeared shining down a distance away. The light was so blinding I couldn't look for more than a second. I closed my eyes until I felt the light dim down. When I re opened them I saw Dan lying on the floor. He looked lifeless, twice as lifeless as he did in the hospital room. I desperately ran over to him but when I got just about in his reach he disappeared. The whole room began to light up again and I found myself in the hallway of the hospital causing a scene, twice as bad as 'Wayne's'. Many eyes from nurses and patients were cast on me. I dropped to my knees and started to cry.

"When will it end?" I pleaded.
