In front of me stood a very distressed looking Ben. I was going to say something but to my luck I still couldn't move any part of my body. I was still locked onto the scene in front of me, which was Aja but had now been replaced with Ben.

I noticed an injection in his grasp. Similar looking to the one Aja had been holding but this time a lighter shade of purple. He slowly infused the strange looking substance into my veins gradually being released into my blood stream. Surprisingly this hurt more than the last. I hoped that was a good sign.

Soon I felt life in my limbs and facial features again. My breathing was more patterned now and my eyes weren't in as much constant pain. They felt itchy and sore mainly from not being able to blink for a long period of time. What kind of injection was that? He slowly unbuckled the straps compressing my wrists from the wooden recliner. Before even muttering a word, he turned around and went over to Dan. From my assumption he was going to repeat the same process on him.

I gently lifted my body weight off the solid surface of the chair and started to try and get all the blood flow back into all my body parts. As I did this I started to notice my surroundings in greater detail. There seemed to be splatters of blood on the walls, some new and some old and crusty. I took a step back in realisation to what my eyes had just locked onto. Does that mean there were people like us here recently? I stopped myself when I felt my foot tread in something wet below me. I looked down and gasped. It was Aja's body, well I'm hoping it wasn't her, just maybe a clone made by those sick bastards.

"AJA!" I heard Dan scream in agony. He mustn't have seen Ben stab her...

"Don't look." I heard Ben whisper into Dan's ear. He actually spoke for once.

"It's not her though, right Ben?" I asked hoping the answer wasn't negative.

All he did was look at me and turn away gently as if the news he was going to announce was not what you wanted to hear. My stomach suddenly filled with butterflies. There was no way that that was Aja, I wasn't going to accept it even if it was.

"Ben. Answer me for fucks sake!" I said, slightly raising my voice hoping for a response.

"Listen Daniel. I didn't want to have to do it but you and Dan were my main prioritys at that moment in time. It was either her or you."

"Wait so that is Aja?" I felt my body start to tremble. My head started to feel like it was spinning and being compressed by sudden weight. I was standing in Aja's blood. I was covered in it. I saw it all happen. I saw my best friend's wife die right in front of me. And it's all my fault.

"What the fuck Ben? I thought I could trust you you piece of shit! I hate you! I wish you would die and suffer the same damn pain as Aja did." Dan was about to say more until he saw the sudden look on Ben's face. It was a look of pure depression and guilt, but with a mixture of hatred and anger all at the same time. Dan started to back away slightly as I noticed Ben's height starting to grow and his skin colour changing darker by the second. His eyes were growing to a dark shade of red and what once was round pupils, suddenly became slits in a split second.

That was him. He was the other unidentified creature in the room. The one with red eyes. The one who went for me but stopped? He was helping Aja, or whatever it was. I still wasn't going to accept her death since I knew it wasn't true.

"Dan, we need to go NOW." My voice became more strained due to the amount of fear overtaking me.

We both made eye contact and looked over in the corner where the opening of a corridor leading to some stairs seemed to be. Without thought we both sprinted to the corner without even taking a single look at what was behind us. He was one of them now. Ben was gone. Maybe even I was.
