She walks on stage the unfamiliar atmosphere scared her that made her look back at Lisa who offered her a smile and gave her a thumbs up.
She looks infront of her seeing thousands of people and four persons seating behind the panel.
Her blue eyes shines reflecting the light that was shining towards her. Her heart was thumping, She didn't expect this. She was scared.
"Hey there.." Her head shoots up to the one who spoke as she held on the microphone tighter.
On the other hand, the judges was lost in the beauty of this child. They haven't seen someone so preciously beautiful with a touch of elegance. Her eyes are in strong color of blue that caught their attention.
"H-hi" Athena stutters. It was all new to her. Her nerves are getting the best of her as she starts to shake.
The judges noticed this and wasn't surprise by it. There's a thousand of people watching who wouldn't be nervous at that. But there's one judge who feels different about the girl, Its like he can read her through those eyes.
"Don't be scared angel, we don't bite." Amanda said which made the crowd react but Athena stayed still and just look back at Lisa.
'Its okay' Lisa mouthed and gave her a reassuring smile. She looked back to the judges and her eyes met Simon.
They locked eyes, Simon took this moment to figure out the girl before she looked away after a few seconds.
Cheryl..
"What's your name sweetheart?"
"Athena" It came out as a whisper. But that went unnoticed by the other three judges as they let out a smile.
"Athena, what a beautiful name. Tell us a bit about yourself."
Her chest tighten, her throat closed up. She remembers it all, but she's still aware of where she's at and now's not a good time for an episode.
"Athena?" The arena was silent and all eyes were on her. She slowly brought the microphone up to her lips and opens her mouth.
"I-I'm eleven...A-and" She tries to think of something to say as she gulped, her eyes roaming around scanning through the audience as she looked at their faces.
They hate you
"C-can I sing?"It slipped out. She bit her lip as she looks down leaving the judges confuse and intrigue about this girl infront of them...Specially Simon, who haven't spoken a word yet.
"Alright..Show us what you got." Amanda says before the crowd applauded.
The music starts..She closed her eyes..She muted all the noise around her pretending she's back at the garden and started to sing.
