It was the day before the red carpet and Cheryl's been busy with the shoot for L'oreal. So Simon took his word and took their children to the beach to spend some time together and this pumped them up.
So as of the moment, Ahena is sat on the sheet beneath her with her Dad beside her just watching as Eric plays with sand in front of them quite caught up with what his doing.
"Daddy, I like it here" Athena said making her father look at her before a smile appeared on both of their faces.
"It's nice isn't it. We always go here every year because of your Mam's red carpet." Simon smiled as he glanced towards the waters before putting his eyes on his son.
"This is so beautiful. It's somehow quiet and just simple." Simon glanced at his daughter to see her let out a breath with a huge dimpled smile on her face. Simon doesn't know how to feel about that but something inside of him felt sad because Athena really did wanted a simple life without the cameras and the glitz and glamour. She's satisfied with them at home just enjoying each other's company like normal families do but the problem is, their life is never going to be simple. Its just how it is.
"Daddy, look what I made" Simon looked towards his son to see him with wet sand on his cheeks while showing to his father the sand castle he made which Simon couldn't figure out at first.
"Oh that's good sweetie. That's very good." Eric smiled widely to his father showing her dimples making Athena and Simon let out a giggle.
"Come here, let me clean you up." The little boy crawled to his father's side as Simon grabbed a towel and wipe the sand on Eric's face before letting him play again.
"Daddy, do you know that Jean?" Athena asked out of the blue and it made Simon frown in confusion as to why Athena brought it up.
"Why? Has he done something to you?" Simon said immediately as he sat up . His father instincts are kicking in. Athena shrugged before shaking her head glancing to her father.
"I just don't like him." It's very rare for Athena to not like a person and Simon knows that so he's really in utter confusion and somehow intrigued to the reason behind this.
"And why is that?"
"He makes mam upset. And I think he's trying to get Mam from us." Simon's brows knit together having no idea on what her daughter is on about.
"What do you mean?"
"He asked mam for a date when we were at the park. Like the one's you went to with her." Simon was shocked by the piece of information that Cheryl forgot to mention to him and somehow it made his mood fell.
"He said it was a friendly date, but I don't believe him. Its a good thing Mam said no right away because I can't let him get her from us. I just don't like him." She shrugged. Simon didn't respomd and just turn his attention to Eric but his mind was out of it. He can't believe Cheryl didn't told her this and for some reason he felt bad about it. She should've told him because she's suppose to. There are no secrets in their relationship and right now he wants to talk to her about this.

It was about three in the afternoon and Cheryl finished her shoot about an hour ago. Simon and the kids arrived later and Cheryl immediately sensed that something is wrong when Simon didn't even looked at her when they greeted each other earlier.
