Bullied by the Dolan Twins

Different Today

Cadence's POV

Today I felt different... I don't know why but I do. I felt the need to be pretty.

I get and put my hair into a messy bun because that how I normally wear it.

I put on a black bando and high waisted shorts. Even though you can see my ribs I try to cover them up.

I put on a cardigan over it so I wouldn't get cold in school. I look in the mirror at myself and I actually felt good....

That's a change. Normally I feel horrible about myself and just want to die. Something was weird.

I do the same makeup routine that I do everyday.

I am ready to head out the door. I grab my backpack and sneaked out the door so my mother wouldn't see me.

I saw Jack waiting at the bus stop alone while all the other kids where bunched up at the end of the side walk.

I walk over to him and sit down in the side walk about 5 feet away from him to give him some space.

"You know you can come closer to me right," Jack said looking straight but smiling.

"I just wanted to give you some space," I saw back playing with a pebble I found on the sidewalk.

"You perfectly fine," Jack said walking over to me.

"Mind if I sit with you?" Jack questions.

"Sure," I said giving him a cheeky smile showing off my dimples.

We didn't really talk to each other. It was really awkward!

When the bus pulls up Jack gets up quickly and holds out his hand.

"Do you need something?" I question because I really don't know what he is doing.

"Well I was going to pull you up..... Now let me see your hand you I can help you up," Jack said laughing.

"Sorry, not a lot of people do- Sorry nobody does that for me," I correct myself and my cheeks are probably red now because I am embarrassed!

"Oh," Jack said back.

All he could say is oh? Really you could have made me feel better! I am thinking that since I finally have someone to care about me I am getting ahead of myself!

We get into the bus and start walking down the aisle. Jack turns into the middle seat in the whole bus surrounded by people. I just kept walking to my seat!

No way in hell I was sitting in ten middle of the bus! Someone could stick gum in my hair! Paper balls being thrown! Those little elastic bands being slingshotted to my face!

Not a good idea.

I reached the back of the bus and sat down. Jack was right behind me.

"I thought you wanted to sit up there?" I said while he started to sit in my seat.

"Um well I was going to until you just past it and went to this one and I wanted to sit with you," he said putting his bag in front of him.

"Okay," I said unlocking my phone.

I was fine with him sitting by me since it was only his 2nd day of school and he doesn't really know anybody except the Dolan twins.

We were only 2 miles away from school and we were the last to be picked up and the first to be dropped off.

It took like 5 minutes but i can't wait to get a car so I could drive myself to school but I don't know who will buy me one.

Sometimes I just think about riding my pennyboard to school but then where am I going to put it since my locker is filled up with mean notes that people write.

The bus driver stops and we all get off the bus. I see Grayson and Ethan looking at me.

"So where do you want me to meet up today so you can beat me up, I mean i have to come over to your house so why not do it there," I say and walk away.

I didn't let them say a word and I am really hoping Grayson doesn't share the information that he knows about my family.

Well this different side it definitely coming out because i wouldn't have said that to them! They would have punched me then and there but i think they were more surprised!

"Come back here," Ethan yelled.

Just when I thought I was fine. I take off running! As fast as I could and I didn't even look to see if they were running behind me.

I go into the girls bathroom and see a bunch of girls give me dirty looks and started gathering there stuff up.

I went into a stall to hide. What am I doing? I know they will fine me and beat me 10x harder then they usually do.

I hear the door open and shut. My heart dropped to my feet.

"Cadence! Cadence! Where are you?" I hear someone say but it wasn't the twins.

"Um.... Who is that?" I question back a few seconds after.

"It's Jack," he said.

I come out of the stall to see Jack standing there with both of the twins behind him.

"I'm sorry they made me," Jack mouthed but didn't say a word.

Grayson sat there and looked at me but Ethan was ready to attack!
