The Text

Cadence's POV

After they both told me what happen at Jake's apartment, I was happy that I have them protecting me and not hurting me.

*buzz*

I pick up my phone to see an unknown phone number has texted me. I swipe the screen to unlock my phone to read the message.

Unknown: Hello Cadence, I can't wait to see you. I'm going to beat your ass when I get ahold of you. Love you.

Me: Who is this?

Unknown: You should know since you have spent your whole life with me!

Me: Mom?

No reply.

Grayson's POV

Cadence face when 0-100 real quick! I saw a tear coming down her face.

I know she is dating Ethan but I know more about her then Ethan does.

"Hey Cadence can I talk to you for a sec?"

"Uh yeah," she wiped the year from her face.

"What's wrong?" I ask her.

"It's my Mom! She isn't dead I think as is watching me." She said showing me the text.

•Flashback•

Cadence's POV

The door hits the wall and my mom comes in really mad! I FORGOT ABOUT THE DISHES!

"I told you little bitch to do the dishes! Get the fuck up now! Wait who the fuck is this? Is this your fucking boyfriend! You were going to have sex instead of doing the dishes huh!" My mother screams at me.

I see Grayson back away into the corner scared.

*slap*

"Ahhhhh," I scream in pain.

*kick*

My mother stormed out for the door.

"When your done being a little mother fucking slut come down and do the dishes!" She yells and slams my door shut.

Then I started coughing...... Really hard

All of a sudden, I started coughing up blood.

(End of Flashback)

I can't believe this!

"We need to tell Ethan!" I said.

"Ethan!" Cadence yells.

Ethan runs in quickly.

"What's amateur? Are you okay? What's going on?" Ethan had a ton of questions and j think he is asking because her face is really red.

"My mom isn't dead! You know..."

"No! I sat there and watched her pull the fucking trigger!" Ethan said running his fingers through his hair.

"I don't know how she did it but Rui I about it! The note! One body bag! The police would've looked for me! It just can't be happening!" She said crying.

"Hey hey hey calm down everything is going to be alright!" I said putting my hand on her back.

Woah.  I got this feeling I've never gotten before and I kinda like it. 

"Let's go out to dinner to take our mind off things," Ethan suggested.

"Okay," Cadence said with a little sniffle at the end.

Ethan's POV

We decided to eat at Taco Bell because we didn't want to get dressed up real fancy to go anywhere nice.

We ordered and sat down.

"I just want to go home and sleep and I don't know why since it's only the middle of the day, well we woke up late so it's like the middle of the day for us," Cadence said.

"What time is it anyway?" Grayson asked.

"It's 3:29," I replied.

I feel so bad for Cadence! All I want is her to be happy and she can't be when she knows that the person that has hurt her the most is not gone.

I don't know which she thinks is better, her mother being gone or her mother is still her. I kinda want to know but I will ask her later.

"When we get home do you guys just want to chill out and watch a movie?" Cadence asked.

"That sounds good but what do you want to watch?" Grayson asked.

"I don't care I just want to watch a movie!" Cadence said and we all laughed.

Grayson's POV

We were all done so I started to clean up the mess on the table. Cadence saw me cleaning us so she helped also.

We went for the same piece of trash and the our hands touched.

I got the same feeling that I had earlier and she is the only one that can give it to me I guess. She put this spell thing on me that makes me feel amazing!

I guess I am getting feelings for my brothers girlfriend.

I don't like this chapter! It's also super short and I don't like having short chapters!
