Cadence's POV

I'm still not sure if I want to go, I mean a ton of things can happen and I'm scared if something does.

"All packed up?" Ethan said coming into our room grabbing his bag.

"Yeah, you are sure we will only be there for 3 days and 2 nights?" I asked Ethan.

"Yes I am sure, no longer," Ethan said.

"Okay, what are we going to do down there?" I asked him.

"Fun things, I have a cool spot that I want to show you when we get back, it's prettier in summer but I still want to go because hopefully it froze and looks like a winter wonder land!" He said getting pretty excited.

"Sounds like fun," I said.

"I am just now thinking about this, are you even wanting to stay at my house? I don't want you to feel uncomfortable because I don't want you to feel that way," he said.

"No I want to stay at your parents house, I just want them to except me though, I don't even know if they want me to stay. What if they don't like me?"

"Hey, don't think that way. They will love you and except you into the family, I promise. They excepted Peyton, my mom didn't like her but she still excepted her," Ethan said.

"How will I know if she excepts me or not?"

"You will know, like she will give you a hug when we leave just to go out to eat, or even when we get back. She knows about you though," he said and I looked at him.

"How?" I asked him.

"Because you are the reason why I came back, the only reason why. My mom strongly thinks that I'm in love but I'm only 16 and have much more life to live, my mom let us only come back down here because you are down here and apparently I never stop talking about you so my mom knows a lot about you," he said doing the smiling emoji that shows the teeth.

"You really only came back down here for me?" I said wanting to cry because he actually cares.

"Yes and even if I'm in love, I know I chose the right person, it's easy to say something that isn't true, like how it was okay that Grayson loves you more and that he should've have you, well I said that but it wasn't true, I mean we say "I love you" to each other but I know when I see you coming up the aisle that one special day that that's when I know that I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you can I can't wait for that day to come. I believe we will make it through so Cadence will you be my girlfriend again, we can start off new," he said getting into his pocket and pulling out a ring.

"What is this?" I asked him.

"It's a promise ring because I promise that I will never ever hurt your precious little heart again," he said gently grabbing my right hand it slipping it on to my opposite ring finger.

"Oh my goodness Ethan," I said hugging him.

I can't believe this, he wants to pretty much spend the rest of his life with me and that makes me feel amazing. Just seeing him with my kids... Oh my goodness.

(I am fighting with my friends right now so it's kinda hard writing this happy moment....😑)

I pull my head away and kiss his lips gently, I have him again and we will be better then ever.

"Just be thankful that we are all able to sit next to each other!" Grayson said ahead of me.
