Cadence's POV

"And I swear to god that is how he got kidnapped! She is like picking off everyone I know! Next thing you you this turn into a fucking murder seen that is horrible!" I said finishing my conclusion.

"Well I still don't understand why she would take Jack? Are you sure he isn't working for her or anything? If you really think about it, look what he did to you neck." Jake said.

"He was drunk that night so I don't think that would be the reason why he choked me but that is over and done with so let's never speak of it again."

Ethan's POV

I could tell Cadence didn't want to talk about that night... I feel really bad that I was there but I wasn't there for her, when she needed me the most. I am so horrible! Is it right that I keep her going with this? She has been through hell and I think I am making even worse!

Cadence's POV

I want to be free for one night! I don't want to have any worries about if my psych mom is on the loose that captured the guy who choked me to death!

"Guys, I need a break!"

"What do you mean when you say you need a break? Like a break from us?" Grayson asked.

"No let's just have a night where a few people come over. Like us 4 and Cameron and Aaron! I just want to have a fun night with a little bit of people, I just need to take my mind off for a bit."

"That was random...." Ethan said to me.

"I just need a break."

"I understand Cadence," Grayson said.

"When?" Ethan asked.

"Tonight!"

"Well I have p-plans tonight," Ethan said stuttering.

What will he be doing tonight...

"Okay well I just we can call Cameron and Aaron up and see if they want to come over still."

"I will call Aaron and Cadence can you call Cameron?" Grayson said pulling out his phone.

"Yeah I will just text him."

Me: Hey

Cameron😊: Hey what's up?

Me: Nothing much but do you want to come over tonight and just hang around?

Cameron😊: Yeah! What time do you want me to come over?

Me: Whenever

Cameron: Okay I will be there soon but what do you want me to bring?

Me: Anything you want

"Cameron is coming," I said loud.

I look over at Ethan that is rubbing the back of his head. Something is wrong with him and it's not okay....

"Can I talk to you really quick Ethan?"

"Huh oh yeah, yeah you can," he said like if he just snapped into reality.

We both walked into my room, I want to know what's wrong before he goes somewhere? Why can't he tell me where he is going?

"Hey what's wrong?"

"Nothing, nothing is wrong," he said trying to make it sound like nothing is wrong.

"Where are you going?"

"Oh I'm just going to go out tonight, I don't really feel like staying here," he said looking down.

He isn't convincing at all! Where is he going tonight? He would tell me, I know it! I'm going to follow him when he leaves.
