The Plan

Cadence's POV

"Ethan I don't know what to say."

"I just don't want you to go. It's hard seeing someone you care about just leave." Ethan said with a tear running down his face.

*beep beep*

My phone went off and I went to grab it. It was perfect timing though. It was getting awkward.

(Unknown Number)

Meet in the ally at 12:30. You better be there.

I am very confused because I don't know this number and they said meet in the ally and there are multiple ally's but there is this one that everyone goes to do drugs and beat people up. That is probably why I am going there.

"Ethan do you know who this is?"

I show him my phone and he rolls his eyes and I am pretty sure I know who it is.

"Grayson," he whispers while looking down.

"What are you going to do?" I ask Ethan.

"Well I am going to go and you are going to go and yeah." He says shrugging his shoulders.

"Are you going to do anything about it?"

"Yeah," Ethan's say not telling me what he is going to do.

"I am going to take a shower so I will be right back."

He didn't respond after that.

I get a towel and go into the bathroom to think about what I am going to do.

I can just go and get a place by myself and I will be alone. That will make me happy.

Or I could call my aunt Amanda Cerny. She lives down there and it would probably save me some money if I just call her.

Or I could call her and get my own room and we would be in the same apartment so I wouldn't have to se alone.

*knock knock*

"Yeah," I yell over the water.

"I need to pee," Ethan yelled back.

"Okay the door is unlocked."

He opens the door and I pop my head out and say "no peeking" and then when back into the shower.

I ant have the water to hot because of where my mom whipped me with the belt but it is semi warm.

I hear the toilet flush. I back away from the water.

"Sorry I forgot," Ethan says.

He opened the door and left. I walk forward to the water again and just think about Ethan.

Then I thought about the prank. It was horrible! That was probably the worst prank that has ever happened to me and a lot of people hate me so people prank me a lot.

It hurts just thinking about it. I have a scar on the back of my leg from what the did and I don't know why I let one of them sleep in my bed last night.

How could he like me when all he ever did was hurt me. I guess if I really think about it, Grayson made him do everything.

He probably wanted to do some stuff by himself but I think he just realized that I have a bad home life and on top of that I have them hurting me too.

My back hurts very bad from Grayson. I don't know what I did to make him mad at me or even pull the stupid prank on him!

I still get confused. Ethan wanted to rip my face off a few days ago? If he likes me then why would I be a perfect target on dodge ball? None of this makes much sense.
