"It'll matter after Mavros gets your name tattooed."

"So if he gets the tattoo, our marriage we'll be complete?"

"Worse, he'll have to agree to the 'X' tattoo. If you've learned from the current tattoo debacle, you'll wanna stop him."

I immediately jumped up and slipped my shoes on before grabbing my keys.

"What's wrong, Ver?"

"Where's the fire?"

"I've gotta stop, Mav!"

"Okay."

"What about check-out? Our stuff?" Dav asked as he eyed the video game console.

"We'll come back for it later." Raden yelled as he hurriedly tied his laces.

Dav complied, but it looked like he was trying to outrun an alligator the way he went after his shoes and keys.

"Keycard?" Raden asked once Dav was at the doorway.

Dav patted his pockets and ran back inside to grab the keycard off the coffee table.

"G-got i-it. Huh. Huh. Huh."  He huffed as he waved the plastic at us.

Raden chuckled as he patted Dav's back. I gave them a scowl, and they grinned as they hurried to catch up with me. I was too impatient to wait for the elevator, so I led the way down the stairs. On the ground floor, the staff gave us weird glances and called out to us, but we ignored them. Once I made it to my bike, I didn't even wait on Dav or Raden and sped off to Mav's club.

"Hell, Ver, you didn't even check if we were following or not." Dav's voice crackled through our Bluetooth headgear.

"I don't have time to waste, plus you two aren't five year Olds who don't know the way home."

"Damn you're bitchy when you're in a hurry," Raden butted in.

"Is that sexist though, to call her bitchy, Rad?"

"Who knows, ask Jesse. Now, what's happening, Ver?"

"WE HAVE TO STOP MAV FROM GETTING TATTOOED." I answered in frustration.

"I thought you wanted him to?" Dav lowered his voice.

"Jes said I shouldn't because it'll be harder to 'divorce' him."

"Well, how else are you gonna punish him then?" Dav and Rad asked at once.

"I'll just knock him out? That should make me feel better."

"Fist fight or sk-skillet?" Rad nervously stuttered.

"With my fists, of course. Why would I wanna give him amnesia for? Then, he wouldn't learn his lesson from his asshole behavior."

"That's a relief."

"We'll hold him down for ya." Dav added with a mischievous chuckle.

"Are you either of you guys really his bros?"

"We are, just not when it comes to you."

"Our moms taught us, 'you always take the lady's side.. even if she's wrong.' But we don't think you're wrong," Dav hurridly added.

"I know you do. If you didn't, you wouldn't be with me right now." I assured him as we took a sharp left turn.

"Honestly, I think Mav deserves to wear your name even after the 'divorce' thing."

"I agree with Dav, and I know Jesse would too."

"Maybe after this is done with, I'll tattoo him while he's sleepin'." Dav casually commented, making me almost swerve my bike.

"If that'll make you feel better. Personally, I'm looking forward to getting a punch in."

🌶ROSALINDA🌶

After being processed, the cops let me go, as I didn't technically break the law. Currently, I'm driving to my Tio (uncle) to borrow bail as my papá made me swear not to tell my Mama. There's no doubt Tio will refuse as he's Papa's older brother, and he's always spoiled him. As when they were kids, my papá's twin died, so to make up for his loss, Tio does anything and everything for him. He was the one who hired the gang that showed up with us at Axton's club. He also handled the weapons they all brought. Apparently, it wasn't good enough as he gave them weapons without the serial numbers. This is why my dad and brothers (besides Emilio) are in custody. I'm honestly considering not getting enough money to bail Emilio, as I told everyone not to lay a hand on Axton or Hercules.

"However, now that I'm thinking about it, I'll just hand him over to Axton and Herc as an apology. Maybe then they'll forgive me. Yeah, it might work."

As I came to an agreement with my subconscious, I pulled into my Tio's driveway. I parked and hurried to the front double doors. I rang the bell and opted to call him, just in case he wasn't home. As the phone rang, one of the doors opened, and the butler appeared.

"Buenas tardes, senorita Hernandez." (Good afternoon, Miss Hernandez)

"Hola, está el tío en casa, José?" (Hello José, is Uncle Home)

"Él está en su estudio. Él está aquí, por favor espere en la sala de estar." (He's in his study) (I'll tell him you've here, please wait I the living room)

I nodded and stepped past José into the living room and sat down on the nearest couch. I set my purse down and made sure to sit ladylike so my uncle wouldn't find any fault with me. As he despises ill breeding in my gender. At the sound of a door closing, I tried to hold my head still.

"Rosalinda."

When my uncle arrived in front of me, I smiled and gracefully stood with back ram-rod straight.

"Buenas tardes, Tio." I stepped over to him and kissed both his cheeks in greeting.

"Cómo está mi querida sobrina?" (How's my darling niece)

"Estoy bien, pero en cuanto a papá.." (I'm fine, but as for dad)

"Déjame adivinar, él y todos fueron arrestados." (Let me guess, he and everyone were arrested)

I nodded and tried not to fidget my interlocked fingers as I lowered my head in embarrassment.

"No hay necesidad de fruncir el ceño querida, no es tu culpa." (No need to frown, dear, it's not your fault)

I lifted my face and gave my uncle a small smile.

"Quédate quieto mientras recojo el dinero." (You stay put while I gather the money)

"Esperaré en el coche." (I'll wait in the car)

My uncle gently patted my head before he briskly returned to his study. I nodded to the butler and returned to my car. I started the engine and turned on the radio as I waited on my uncle.
