Chapter 13 || Big Bad Jonin
"You appear out of nowhere in our village and the first thing you do is get close to our jinchuriki" she glared daggers at the girl, "You couldn't be more obvious" she sneers raising her kunai in preparation.
"I don't even know what that is!" Ace exclaims in return, her voice cracking desperately. "Please don't do this!" She begs, her own Kunai wavering- shaking in her unsteady hand.
"I promise I'm not a spy!"

"Ay! Top of the class!" Kiba cheered, wrapping an arm around the small girls shoulder, her shiny new headband tied proudly around her head. She couldn't hold back the grin that stuck stupidly to her face.
"Top of the class!" She cheered back, slinging her own arm around the boy in return, jostling him to the side and knocking his shoulder into Shikamaru, who was slumped lazily in the spot next to him.
For the first time, the spiked up boy didn't speak up about it, his own small smile gracing the corners of his lips.
The classroom was alive with chatter, all excited to learn who their new teammates and sensei would be.
Ace had completed the graduation test and passed with flying colours, landing her her very own hitai-ate. The metal shone proudly on her forehead, unblemished and ready to follow her through her ninja years.
She had spent all night just looking at it. The goal she had been working towards since she'd arrived here was right at her fingertips.
She still couldn't believe it. She had managed to survive two years in this strange place. Two whole birthdays had gone by. She was twelve now.
Her life in Konoha had distracted her from thinking too much about home, keeping her much too busy and even now, she knew the ninja life would do the same.
A grating voice brings her back to the present as the typical fangirls surround Sasuke, as per usual. Their squeals and chatter filling the room with noise.
In the beginning Ace had her own little fanclub, but after spreading a little rumour about not liking crowds, they all seemed to keep a respectable distance. She still felt the heat of their gazes watching her, but luckily they kept their attempts at wooing her to a minimum.
"Sasuke-kun c-can I sit next t-to-"
"Move it forehead!" A second rather grating voice speaks up.
Ace rolls her eyes, her gaze shifting over to the boy next to her before double taking. She could have swore that just yesterday Naruto had been downtrodden about failing. Yet there he was with his own headband shining proudly where he had worn his old goggles.
"You can sit next to me Sakura" he offers with a faint hint of pink on his cheeks. Ace raises an eyebrow.
She kept forgetting about his feelings for the pink haired girl. She had no idea what he saw in her, Maybe he likes them mean?
Sakura's face of disgust immediately made Naruto deflate in his seat.
Definitely doesn't like them mean. Ace snickered to herself.
She could admit that Sakura was beautiful, hell if she wasn't such a bitch Ace would probably have her own little crush on her, but having gotten to know the girl through her years in class with her it was safe to say she was rather put off.
Sakura was never mean to Ace's face, but the way she talked about other people and insulted her other classmates to their face made her want to keep her distance.
