"You guys already know who I am, why should I introduce myself?" Ace deadpanned, a twitch in her eyebrows.

The other three kids sat around her, all looking somewhat excited for the day. Even Sasuke, who sat on Ace's left was missing his usual brooding expression.

"Humor me" Kakashi responded, shrugging lightly with a smile on his face. Or rather, an alleged smile on his face, judging solely on his eye crinkling at the corner.

Ace let out a sigh before sitting up straight and clearing her throat.

"My name is Kacey Uchiha, I go by Ace and I like..." She paused to think for a moment, tapping a finger to her chin dramatically. Her face lit up as she pointed happily towards Kakashi "Doing your mothe-"

"Take this seriously Ace" Kakashi interjects, with a cross of his arms. Naruto explodes into laughter on Ace's right, finding her joke hilarious.

Ace rolls her eyes in return, "fine." She huffs, pulling a face at the man before continuing as Naruto's laughter dies down.

"I like card games." She finally discloses, "what I don't like is your attitude." She crosses her arms, poking her tongue out at Kakashi

Kakashi shoots her a look, one that Ace read to be a disapproval of her sarcasm.

"My goal for the future is to find out what happened to me." She finishes, keeping it as simple as she could. This goal of hers caught the attention of all three of her teammates, who all turned to look at her.

"Find out what happened to you?" Sakura questions nosily, "what is that supposed to mean?" She presses.

Ace looks at her with a raised eyebrow, "what do you mean? I thought everyone knew?" Ace asks incredulously. Every figure of authority in her life had been asking questions since the day she washed up here, and somehow nobody here knew? She doubted that.

"Well I don't know, so obviously not." Sakura snapped back, annoyance clouding her face. "Just tell me!"

Sasuke and Naruto share a glance, a grim expression clouding their faces.

"Hey Sakura I'm pretty sure that's a touchy subject for Ace" Naruto speaks up meekly, not wanting to incur the pink haired ball of wrath on himself.

"No it's okay Naruto." Ace waves off casually before rolling down the sleeve of her fishnet shirt, revealing her pink and irritated scar lines, the ones that ran up her arm like branches, wrapping around and twisting along her veins.

Kakashi watched carefully from in front of the group, prepared to step in if anything did happen to get out of hand.

"I showed up here two years ago with these. I think I got struck by lightning but it's a little foggy." She admits, tracing along the lines gently with her finger.

"Woah," Naruto and Sakura vocalise

"They look so cool!" Naruto adds

Ace felt a twinge of embarrassment flood her at the compliment, her fingers weaving into her sleeve, fidgeting nervously. "I think so too," she grinned awkwardly.

"Does it still hurt?" Sasuke piped up curiously, leaning forward to get a better look.

"Uh- not as much anymore." Ace responded quietly, looking over at the boy, allowing him to get a better look by turning and offering her arm to be examined

"Why do you hide them under your shirt?" Sakura enquired, not seeming to understand.

Ace looks away nervously, not entirely sure how to answer that question.
