Shut up

Dan's POV

I wake up with my arms around someone and a pounding headache.

What happened last night?

I look down to see Emma resting in my arms, and all of the memories come rushing back.

The party, the sleepover, Emma...

The sleeping girl in my arms starts to whimper, and tightly holds my arms.

I do all I know, and lift her onto my chest and hug her.

She seems to calm down and starts to wake up.

She opens her beautiful, beautiful, eyes and immediately closes them. Most likely due to a pounding headache...

"Hey Dan..." She whispered softly.

"Hi." And I do my signature awkward wave.

She giggles a bit and hugs me a bit tighter.

Then we hear shuffling, the loud talking coming from downstairs. "UGH!" She yells in frustration. "SO LOUD!"

I grab the comforter and encase us in a shell. "Better?"

"Yes..." And she drifts off to sleep again.

I take off the igloo of warmth I have created and fall asleep too.

I wake up maybe five minutes later to the sound of people. Ugh. People.

I can see that Emma notices the too, as she tries to block them out. "UGH. PEOPLE!" She screams at the top of her lungs, and then cowers into me. "I completely agree..." I say as a whisper into her ears.

The noise only gets louder as time goes on.

And as the noise gets louder, Emma gets even more and more mad, until she is digging her claws into my bare skin, most likely drawing blood.

After almost 5 minutes of rising volume, she pushes herself off of me, and rushes out the door. I follow her.

She races down the stairs to the living room. "BE QUIET YOU FUCKHEADS! IM TRYING TO SLEEP!!" Then flashes her middle finger, grabs my hand, and takes us back upstairs to Anthony's room.

When we get there, she slams the door as hard as she can and falls into the bed. "UGH. PEOPLE!" She screams again.

I crawl into bed with her and she claims my chest as her territory as she lays there.

She falls asleep within minutes and I grab my phone.

She is a foot shorter then me. It's adorable.

I need a picture.

I take a picture and savor it. She is so pretty.

After a few minutes, I roll her off me and escape her hold.

I grab my shirt and pj pants and put them on.

I walk downstairs and see everyone just sitting there, waiting for me to explain.

So I do. "ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK! We were up till 5 on tumblr and I guess we fell asleep together. That's really it." The boys nod like they've all done the exact same thing.

"Oh yeah. And she's really mad at you guys for all the noise..." I say awkwardly. They nod again and lower the noise.

I hope she doesn't notice I'm gone...
