CHAPTER 25

"Some things that will Never Change"

Graduation is nearing and it means two things: We will be college students and this will be the last time we will be together... I stare blankly at the classroom window, trying to remember the past four years of my life. A bully became my friend. Us carrying the school's name in competitions and contests. Rex getting beat up by Maya at least thrice a day. Ivy and Tulio being the smartest, cuasing them going head to head. Me and Adam in White and Blue. Kou's cooking. Riko and Kyle's shenanigans. I am gonna miss those...

"Ice! We are going to have a feast at Kou's! Wanna come?" Riko shouted and I nodded in response "What are you doing anyway?"

"Just remembering the past four years..."

"I have been here at least a year but I already feel like family! Time sure does fly by so fast... And now we are graduating!"

I nodded in response. We continue to talk as we walk. We are both joking on how we changed and how everything went by. By the time we arrived at Kou's, it's already 6 PM. The sky is getting dark but the room is making it brighten.

"You're late, puppy!" I was tackled by my boyfriend making me fall unto Maya, who is just behind me

"Oww!!!... YOU IDIOT!!" Maya then threw Rex outside, causing him to eat dirt... literally...

"Mpfffh!! Bleh! That's gonna ruin my taste! Thanks Maya!" I just laughed at their act.

"Hey, calm down you two!" Adam added

"You do realize you're like that around me?" Kyle said with a smirk

"I do. But I do it with you!" Adam then hugged kyle. They are so cute together.

"Okay. Okay. Stop being that. I know you are boyfriends but keep the flirting to a minimum please." Tulio said while drinking some juice

"Is someone getting jealous?" Maya teased

"I am, too, annoyed. If possible, keep the flirting to a stop for now." Ivy followed

"Whatever! Stop this gloomy attitude for now! How is Rex?"

"Still washing his mouth" I said and at that moment, Kou showed up with a bunch of food

"Here everyone! I-I-I hope you enjoy..." He said as he squirms

"Irony..." We all said in unison and we exchanged glances. We all just laughed and ate.

There were many on the table. There were Lobsters, Crabs, Steaks, Potatoes, Fries and even a cake! He baked all these? I am impressed

"Um... I actually was helped by my sisters... They are better at cooking than me..." Kou said

"Still, it tasted awesome! When Kou opens up his own shop, I would eat there every day!" Riko said as Kou blushed

"I would too. Hm?" I look to my side and I saw Rex, Adam and Kyle are eating so much. SO much that I doubt they could even speak

"They are having an eating contest." Ivy said

"Idiots... Still, that what makes them fun to be with." Tulio added

"I agree." I said

The night went on with Rex being the winner, causing him a trip to the bathroom. Adam and Kyle both went home early for... reasons... Tulio and Ivy went home together to get ready for their speech in the graduation. They are the Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Maya, me and Riko helped kou with the dishes before they went home. I waited for Rex until he left the toilet.

"Haaah!! It feels great!" He shouted

"Still, I think the toilet needs replacing Kou..." I said

"We are renovating our house next week anyway... Goodbye and... thanks!"

"Bye!" Rex and me said in unison

We walk home together, reminiscing the four years of our lives

"Nothing changed huh?" Rex said

"You dolt! There has! I am yours!" I said and he just blushed. Seeing him like that is sure cute. I couldn't handle myself and I kissed him

"Mpf! ... ... Mmm" We stayed like that for some time. I am gonna miss this...

"I will miss you..."
"Puppy! Don't forget that we have two months before we enter college and our houses are like 2 blocks apart." He said

"Oh..."

We both just laughed at each other until we went home. Still, I will miss him being beside me this entire time... I did my night time routine and went to bed knowing that tomorrow will be our graduation...
