CHAPTER 20

"A Tiger's Farewell"

I woke up to a Saturday early as 5 AM. Why? It's Andy's graduation today. He is pretty much a bully for me back then but he has become one of my closest friends so I would not look him in the eye if I ever miss his graduation. I prepared myself for like an hour.

"Mom! I am leaving!" I shouted as I heard her okay.

I entered the school gymnasium and I saw it is already starting. Andy is not the best student but he is good enough to pass. He is with his classmates so I sat to the nearest chair to him. I called to him with a wave until he noticed me. I may be delusional but I can see him crying and smiling at me.

After the ceremony, I went to find the tiger. It seems like he is not easy to find in this crowd.

"Hey look! A half-blood!" I heard a voice. That tone. That tease. I just chuckled

"The half-blood that changed my life!" He said giving me a smile

"Hey Andy!"

"What are you doing here?" He asked and I just rolled my eyes at him

"You an Idiot? I came to see you!" I said and I can see he started to tear up

"I am so happy, ya know" And he trapped me into a headlock

"Owowowow! Stop it!" I laughed

"Ice... I am leaving this town..." He said as he released me.

"Huh? Why?"

"My mom found a job in the city and it seems like I will study there in college."

"I will miss you..." I hugged him. He is bigger than me so I was wrapped in his arms

"Me too... But hey!" He released me "It doesn't mean I won't be forgetting ya! Thanks to you, I am finally living my father's dream!"

"That's great! But when will you leave?" I asked

"Next week..." He sighed

"Let's take a walk shall we?" I offered him

I waited outside his classroom and he came out wearing a university jacket and jeans. He really does look like a university student now.

"Where will we go?" He asked

"You'll see" I told him and we continue to walk. We talked and joked about the first year I have and the fact that we kissed is now in the past... as if it never happened

"We're here!" I told him and he was surprised to find where we are. The park...

"Ice..."

"I may not return your feelings but I will always be a part of your life. I know your father is really proud!" I gave him a hug

"Thank... you... Ice!" He hugged me back and cried. I can feel his tears run down. We eventually broke up and I gave him a smile

"It's getting late. I should go now..." He said but I stopped him

"Here. Take this!" I gave him a gumdrop wrapper inside a plastic ball

"Is this?"

"Yep! When we were together that day, we ate some gumdrop and I kept one of the wrappers to give it to you!"

"Thanks... Ice..."

We parted ways and then we said goodbye. Days pass, we never heard from each other again but I don't regret anything anymore because I now have a new future! I lay down on my bed, thinking of the life given to me and what to do with it until I slept...

Hey everyone! Icelione here! I have been feeling pretty good lately so I have made a comeback today! HURRAY! I will time skip more often because we are nearing the end. When this book ends, it doesn't mean Ice's journey is gone. Well, that's it for now. Later guys!

Ice: Huh?! It's ending?!

Rex: Why!!!!???

Icelione: Maya, could you please...

Maya: *Punches them in the distance*

Ivy: Make a wish, readers.

Icelione: Like I said, it's not over! See ya next time!

Maya: Bye everyone!

Ivy: They're back.

Rex/Ice: WHY!!!!???
