"A Final Morning of Goodbyes"
In a few minutes, we will march up to the stage to claim our diplomas. My mom and dad came to my graduation to help me with my Toga. It is much of a blue like ice. Frozen blue... the color of class Z.
"There you go sweetheart!" My mom finished adjusting my toga but...
"Mom, my tail is holding up my toga"
"Dear... you do realize he is half me, right?" My dad then took a holed toga and placed it on me. I feel more comfortable now!
"There! Look, he is comfortable!"
"Hmm? Yeah but I still think he needs more shazam!"
"I am going to a graduation ceremony! Not a fashion show!" I pouted. We all just laughed and took pictures
"Ice, you there?" Rex then came in, already wearing his toga "Nice... Ya look good! I've fallen in love again!"
"N-n-not In front of my parents, you idiot!"
"Just make sure you take care of him, son!" My dad said with a pat on Rex's back
"Here let me take a picture!" My mom then took one last shot with me and my boyfriend before we went out.
Later, at the ceremony, after the entrance of Classes A-F, we were called next
"And now, the Class we all know as legendary: Class Z!"
Legendary? I feel bad now but all I can see as I march are happy faces. Not a single one is a tad bit jealous. I really love Victorian high now.
A few speeches passed, including Ivy's and Tulio's, It's time for our diplomas! As I walk up the stairs when my name is called, I can feel my tears start to build up. I try to keep a smile but I can't help it. When I got down, I started to cry. Not because of sadness but I was so happy
Later, I went to our classroom to celebrate our graduation. We all ate again and had fun. Like always, Rex is thrown out by Maya, Tulio and Ivy are fighting intellectually, Kyle and Adam are being flirty so is Kou and Riko. I stare blankly at the window and realize that my high school life is over. It feels so short. But... It will be another journey for us so I forced a smile
"Hey, we are all going to the same college, right?" Ivy said "Don't try doing that, else you will grow old."
"Heh. I still will miss this atmosphere..."
"But I will be with my puppy all the way!" Rex said
"I know but we will only have like an hour together everyday..."
"At least we will have an hour!" Rex kissed my forehead and embraced me
"I love you..."
"I love you too..."
He is right... This may be the last time we will be in high school but this is not the last time we will hang out. There is still a summer to look forward to...
"Come on! Everyone is gonna finish all the snacks, puppy!"
Rex pulled me to the food corner. To the people I now call my family. The day was loud and noisy until I went home with the one I love... My high school life... is over...
