Vee Washington was born only a year after Steve Rogers, but they only crossed paths in the 21st century. Vee was kidnapped by a group of space thieves named the Ravagers. They only kept her because of her abilities which were beyond the human standa...
It has been three days since our date and everything has been amazing. Sam and Bucky are still on their mission so Steve and I were always hanging out together. I finished my side job for NASA right before the deadline, which was a relief. I really did believe that I wouldn't finish it on time. But I somehow did it.
So since that moment I've been spending my time with Steve. We watched movies, went on walks, visited a museum, went to dinner, and so much more. Steve and I have more in common then we thought. We both like art, which is why we went to a museum, we both like baseball, and both dislike liquorice.
We're both sitting on the couch right now, watching a random movie on tv. He had wrapped his arm around my shoulder so that he could pull me into him.
"Do you think this movie boring too?" He asks, his voice sounding sweet.
"Yeah, is there something else on tv?"
He grabbed the remote and clicked through channels. This went on for a good two minutes.
"I don't see anything better."
"Neither do I." Steve got a smirk on his face before standing up and running into his room. "What are you doing!?" I asked with a smile.
He walked back into the living room with a black sketchbook and a few drawing materials. He sat back down and opened the sketchbook on an empty page and ripped it out before handing it to me with a pencil.
"We're going to draw each other. We both like to draw, let's see who's better at drawing faces."
"This isn't fair! You literally used to make money by drawing police sketches." He just shrugged.
"Good luck, Veevee. May the best drawer win."
My smile grew as I started getting to work. We both looked up frm our paper from time to time to study each other's faces. This might actually be a good idea, because I saw moles and details I've never seen before. Every time that we looked up at the same time both of us would laugh.
My sketch was finished pretty quickly and I started adding details. I've always liked smudging the lead with my fingers to make it look smooth, so that's what I did.
"Done." Steve said after maybe 20 minutes.
"Already? I'm no where near done."
He chuckled. "Really? Then you might want to up your game." I fake gasped, which made him laugh.
He grabbed the tv remote and turned it on. "Oh, baseball is on, great."
I continued drawing for a good 25 minutes until I was done too. My forehead was covered in the grey lead from wiping my forehead so much, which made Steve laugh.
"Done."
"Finally, I'm excited. Can you show me first?" I nodded before turning my paper around. Steve's smile grew the moment he laid eyes on it. "It looks amazing, Veevee! I knew you were talented but I didn't know you were this talented!"
"Thank you." I say as a blush crept onto my cheeks. He cupped my chin and kissed me sweetly.
"I love it."
"Can I see your drawing now?"
He chuckled before grabbing his sketchbook and turning it around to reveal a beautiful sketch of my face. He captured everything so beautifully, which made me gasp.
"Stevie, this is- wow. This is amazing." His smile grew. "My hair looks so pretty! Oh my God!"
"I just drew what I saw, sweetheart."
