A/N: You'll know what I mean with the picture above when you see *^* and *v*
The next morning I got up early like I always do. I'm the only one who wakes up early to train, as everyone likes to train after breakfast.
Training after breakfast sits wrong with me. I would eat a protein bar and then start training.
It might not be the healthiest, but it works for me.
I warmed up with some tricep dips before doing dome bench presses.
Maybe after an hour or so I stopped training because I knew Rogers would be training here in a few minutes. He has walked into me training before and it's pretty awkward. For some reason he likes to make A LOT of noise while working out.
So yeah, I prefer to be away before he's here.
I gathered all my stuff before going upstairs, back to my apartment.
I dumped my stuff and changed into some leggings and a tank top, it's cold in New York and I'm not feeling like becoming Steve Rogers from 1945 to 2011.
Everyone morning after my work out I like to go on a run too. It's kinda relaxing I guess. So when I was done changing I went downstairs and out the door, towards Central Park.
Central Park in the fall is another level of beauty. I've been in many different places in this galaxy with many different looks and cultures, but my home city of New York in the fall is hard to beat. I remember playing in the leafs as a child in Brooklyn.
Man, sometimes I wish I was four again.
No worries, no problems, no fear. If you had told me that a year later I would be in space I would've laughed right in your face.
My mind wondered back into the past while I was running... It's not a bad thing to drift off to though.
My family wasn't rich, but not poor either. My father Taylor tried to become an inventor, but failed. He ended up working in a very hot factory. I still remember the way he smelled when he got back home.
Almost worse than the VERY dirty Ravager ship.
My mother was a sweet lady, she cared for us and truly loved us. I was the first born child. My father didn't like it that I was a girl though, so only two years later my little brother Richard was born. Only about a month before I disappeared my other little brother Taylor was born. Yes, the same name as my father. We called him Tobias though.
Richard and I always called him Taffy though, because we both had trouble pronouncing it correctly.
For the rest of my siblings, I have no idea. Maybe I should ask Stark about it. He said he knew my father. His father and my father were close after I disappeared I guess. But I never heard him talk about a Howard Stark though.
Back to the point, my family wasn't rich, but also not poor. I went to a good school and had all the toys that I needed. My favorite thing was playing tag with my neighbours though, all the adults who lived in the same apartment building had kids about my age, so I was never really lonely.
I lived across from a nice park with a big open field to play. I would be jump roping or playing soccer. The boys and girls in my building were all so tight that we glady opened our arms for each other. Soccer was considered a sport for boys only and jump roping for girls. But not for us. We played together, no matter what gender.
Would any of those kids still be alive today?
Probably not, considering the fact that they were all around the same age as me.
