It's been a month since our Brooklyn Bridge date and everything is amazing. We go on dates every Thursday and Sam and Bucky haven't noticed a thing. I find myself looking forward to Thursday afternoons at any given moment.

Bucky, Steve, and I went back to working full time now, and Sam is slowly starting to go back. None of us have been called on any missions yet, which I'm glad about, this was a much needed break. Normally I'm dependant on mission announcements, it controlled my life, but not anymore.

I'm sitting in my office, finishing off some bits and pieces from e-mails and calls that I missed this month. I haven't been ontop of my game for some time, but it's time to get back at it. I might be glad about not having to go to missions, but I'm also eager to go back.

My door opened and closed. Steve walked in with his hands in his pockets.

"Hey sweetheart, what are you doing?"

"Answering some lost e-mails from Nasa. People are telling me how great my knowledge is and how much I helped them. It feels kinda rude not to answer them... so I'm responding with thank you and all that stuff."

He smiled as pulled a spare chair towards my desk and sat down. "Fury told me to tell you that we'll need to assemble in the meeting room in about 30 minutes."

I nodded. "Okay, I think I'll be able to finish my work in time."

"That's great. Is it okay if I keep you company?"

"Of course." We talked about everything and nothing while I finished off my e-mails. I sent the last one out before spinning my chair to look at Steve. "Is it okay if plan our next Thursday? I have the perfect idea."

He grabbed my hand a placed a kiss on it. "That's okay, I have been running out of fun ideas anyways."

"That is not true! All of our dates have been amazing so far!"

He kissed my hand again. "Thank you, Veebs, but you deserve the best of the best."

"I have you, that is already the best of the best."

"Let's go to the meeting room, we don't wanna be late."

"You just ignored my compliment." I said as I stood up, still holding his hand. He stood up too and gave me a kiss.

"I didn't ignore your compliment, I just said thank you."

"By kissing me, that's not a thank you?"

"It's not?" His hand crept under my shirt and tickled my stomach.

I laughed before responding. "No! It's not, now let's go."

He gave me one last kiss before following me outside. We started acting like we were always acting, like we disagree on a random topic, so that people won't get suspicious.

We walked into the meeting room, and most seats were empty. I sat down next to Natasha and wrapped my arm around my chair.

"It's nice to be back." I say with a smile.

"It's nice to have you back." Natasha replied. "We missed you, missions with you are more fun."

I shrugged. "Really?"

"Hell yeah!" Clint yelled with a smirk.

"Good to know I guess."

Avengers started rolling in, with Stark being the last to enter, like most of the time. He says that he doesn't care about time and that time should care about him.

Fury stood up as Stark sat down next to Rhodey.

"Captain Rogers, Sergeant Barnes, and Commander Washington have finally rejoined us again." It still feels nice to be called Commander, Nasa gave me the title after I helped them with more tasks this past months. They said that I was one of the most helpful people they have ever employed and that they wanted to honor me with an official title. So Commander Washington it is. "And that is why we'll give the first mission to Captain Rogers. Steve, you will have Barton, Washington, and Maximoff to join you on this mission. I will have the file delivered to your office as soon as possible."
