Instantly every voice in the room disappeared, all eyes on Beka.

"Thank you. Firstly, Marni and I would like to thank you all for coming tonight, especially on such short notice.

"Now as you all know, my class was interrupted by guards today, and so has unfortunately resulted in a war. From here on out, there will be the risk of death. Knowing this, anyone who doesn't wish to fight may leave now."

Beka paused to allow anyone to leave. No-one moved so she continued.

"Ok then. So the basics are covered. Good. The next thing is that children under 16 will not fight. They may help, but they will not fight on the front line."

There were a few grumbles, one especially loud from Mellow, but they soon quietened down.

"Thirdly, we need to train everyone to fight. Jodie and Samantha have both agreed to help with that. They are both known in many countries for their martial art skills, and, with in witching circles, for their use of magic during fights. They will be running sessions from tomorrow onward from 10am 'till midday, then from 1pm 'till 4pm. Please go as often as you would like, but do not wear yourself down too much.

"Forth, we have 2 warlocks and a full power witch among us tonight, so if they could come and see me later it would be appreciated.

"Lastly, I have selected a few people to run certain parts of this... operation... so if they could see me as well it would also be appreciated. Now, the rest of the evening is to get to know one-another, so enjoy yourselves. There are plenty more drinks in the kitchen and food around the house. Thank you."

Chattering immediately occupied the room, and Marni stood up.

"Well then, you need to go see Beka" She said to Jason. He nodded.

"Um, come with me? She kinda scares me..." Jase admitted, blushing slightly.

Through her fit of laughter, Marni nodded and gestured for him to follow her. Unfortunately Jase couldn't know about her being the full witch until later, but it seemed to work out as she could come and here what was being said without giving away that she was the full witch.

"Hello, I come baring a Warlock for you!" Beka smiled lightly.

"You must be Jason. Come, follow me. You too Marni, since you already know the plans, its best you come in case I miss something out."

Catching on to what Beka was doing Marni nodded. "Okey Dokey!" she said, beaming widely.

Leading them through the crowd, Beka took them to a small room at the back. There was already a boy in there, presumably the other warlock. Jason glared at him, and the boy smirked back. He pushed himself off of the wall he was leaning on and walked over to Marni.

"I'm Blake, Jason's brother." He bowed slightly and kissed Marnis hand. Pale pink climbed up Marnis neck as she blushed.

"Blake stop flirting" Jason spat out through gritted teeth.

"Why would I do that brother? Are you Jealous?" Jason glared through the blush that was appearing on his cheeks.

"Aww! You are! My little brother has his first crush! Here I was thinking you were gay with all your female friends and no girlfriend. I'm so proud of you!" Blake teased hugging his brother.

Beka cleared her throat, and both boys immediately shut up and look at her "Ok then, so basically, you will be training separately with the full witch from 4:30 until 8 o'clock. Your training is not optional. Got it?"

The boys nodded.

"Good. See you at 4:30 tomorrow. Do NOT be late." Beka smiled at Marni before leaving the small room.

"Well, that was fun" Marni said sarcastically "totally worth the journey all the way across the house."

Blake smirked again "Yes, it was. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going home, since I have no reason to stay any longer, other than to annoy my brother, and I think I've done that enough already. See you later, Marni; it was nice to meet you." Blake said flirtingly. His expression hardened a little as he gave a nod to Jason "Jason."

"Blake" Jase replied coldly.

"Bye!" Marni said as she waved overly enthusiastically. Blake smiled before vanishing into thin air.

"Show off" Jase muttered. Marni smiled.

"He's not showing off. Just practicing"

"You think too much of my brother. He was trying to attract your attention."

"Why would he want my attention? Surely the full witch would be worth his time more than mine?"

"Probably, but at the moment I have your attention. He can't stand losing, and to him, letting me keep your attention would be losing." Marni blushed slightly before beaming.

"Well then, let's go! I want another cookie! Or maybe a cup cake, what do ya think?"

"Sure" Jase replied, thankful for the subject change "let's go"
