They had built a life together, a life of stability and prosperity, and were admired by many in their pack.

However, beneath this veneer of marital harmony, a hidden vulnerability lay within Samuel.

Despite his love for Elara, he harbored a deep-seated desire for a connection that perhaps went beyond the bounds of their established relationship. The news, which should have been a cause for celebration, was met with a complicated mix of emotions from Samuel. He was overjoyed at the prospect of becoming a father again, but the joy was tainted by the gnawing guilt of his infidelity.

He kept his secret, unable to bring himself to confess to Elara. But the uncertainty ate away at him, poisoning his joy and creating a wedge between him and his wife.
