It was such a relief to step out of that store and into the fresh air. I breathed in the fresh air through my nose and let it out a few times through my mouth till my breathing evened out. Everything was happening so fast, I couldn't catch my breath. I still can't.

Meeting Christian blew my mind. I never thought that I would experience intense attraction again. It was like seeing right into his soul as silly as that sounds, but it really felt like I was seeing the man he truly was. I couldn't help but feel something and it was too soon for me. I can't exactly walk away from him. I know I don't want too. I just need to slow it down.

Then there was Ana. I always believed in the supernatural, but I never thought I could sense them, let alone have one take over my body. That was beyond anything I ever felt before. After the whole experience, I can finally see her. I could definitely see why Christian had become so taken with me. I remind him of her. Does he see those same things he saw in her, in me? I don't exactly sure how I feel about that.

Can't forget about Raymond – I told him time and time again that there was nothing between us, but he never got the hint. Hopefully now Raymond has finally taken the hint.

We crossed the street to his black car, though he never touched me. For some strange reason, the thought of that depressed me. We avoided the on coming traffic until we reached the car. It looked to me like it was an Audi Spyder. It was a car Jacob had once wanted, though he new he could never afford.

Opening the door, Christian said to me sweetly in the most elegant, gentlemanly way possible, "Ladies first."

Sliding into the car, I glanced over at Christian and he smiled a beautiful, kind smile at me. It made me weak in the knees and I was suddenly shy. I gave him a smile of my own and turned to look out the window. Wow. I took a deep breath. That was just as in tense as before. Will all his looks make me feel that way?

"Put your safety belt on." Christian ordered swiftly.

Oh hell, Christian was bossy. That might be interesting.

"Yes master!" I grinned at him playfully.

"I like that." Christian grinned at me as he closed the door. "You have no idea what you're getting into." There was a sparkle in his eyes. It told me there was much more to my master comment that I had expected.

I was sure that Christian had a secret, but what was the secret? I definitely wanted to find out more about him and that secret. I was just about to ask about the secret, when instead I asked, "Where are we going?" I needed to change the subject or I would start obsessing.

"It is a surprise." Christian smiled at me with his secret smile as started the car.

My gut was telling me that this man was full of secrets, that I should stay away, but my heart was telling me to stick around and find out what his secrets were. Then there was Ana. She told me a lot rode on me getting with Christian and I believed her. She went through a lot to make sure the connection happened.

When it was clear, Christian pulled out into traffic carefully, and headed through town. He turned onto interstate five, heading south. Where was he taking me? After a moment,

Turning in my seat, I glanced over at him, wondering where we were going, but I was momentarily distracted by how good looking he really was. The slope of his nose, the cheekbones, the lips; it was the whole package. How was it even possible than I am sitting next to him and he was interested in me?

"What?" Christian smiled at me though with question in his eyes.

"Just admiring the view." I smirked at him in my attempt at flirting.
