Chapter 18

Kylie's POV:

Me and Maeve finally arrived to Chicago and checked into the hotel. I accidentally bumped into someone while dragging my luggage to the elevator

"Oh sorry" I say and he looks up at me
"Kylie?" Hayes says and I smile

"Hey. Aren't you in Chicago a little early" I say and he laughs

"Yeah. It's just I had a few meetings and I couldn't miss Skate and Sammy's concert"

"Oh that's cool." I say

"Is Maeve with you, she tweeted about going to Chicago with you"

"Yeah I think she's upstairs right now, you should come to our room" I say and his eyes go wide

"Ye-yeah, can I" he says stuttering

"Of course you're dating Maeve" I say and it was silent now

"Okay well I got to go"

"Bye, and don't tell Maeve I'm here" he says and the elevator closes

I walked into the hotel room and it was a nice cool breeze and it was beautiful. It looked like an actual apartment, I guess Maeve likes to go all out when she travels haha, also the Griers

"Maeve?" I yelled and no one answered

I looked into one of the rooms that I'm guessing is hers, I see her bags on the bed.

Hm. Right when I turn around I see her standing at the doorway

"Looking for me? Sorry I bumped into a cute guy in the hall." She says and I smile

"Wanna get Starbucks?" I ask and she nods

I quickly changed into my lulu lemons leggings and a white tank top that's Tumblr ish style . "That's so cute" Maeve says and I send her a blow kiss

Maeve was wearing TNA tights and a PINK sweater

"I'm not the only cute one here" I say and she winks and we laugh

I grabbed my purse and we walked on the streets of Chicago looking for the nearest Starbucks. Once we went inside we waited in line, it was long because it's the most convenient one on the block. "Nice to see your pretty face around" a boy says behind me, he sounded soo familiar. I turned around to see Noah with a creepiest smile. "No hug babe?" He asks and I take a step back and accidentally push Maeve

"What?" She says and notices Noah

"Oh, who's the cutie" she says whispering to me and he heard

"I'm Noah, and you are?"
He says offering to shake her hand and I grab her arm and storm out of the store

"Okay. that is the creepiest thing ever" I say and she looks at me confused "I'll explain later. Let's just get some pizza and watch tv" I say and we agree. As we were walking home we order pizza through the phone. Once we arrived the pizza delivery guy shows up

I open the door and Noah was holding a box of pizza

"I picked it up from downstairs for you" he says and I slam the door shut

"You going to take it or?" He says and Maeve opens the door and takes the pizza and pays for it

"Maeve you need to understand that this is really trippy" I say and she laughs

"You're so crazy. Tell me" she says and I nod

"I met him on my flight to NC to LA. The past few hours on the flight we got to know each other and stuff. Let me remind you I had no clue who he was" I say and take a bite of my pizza

"Okay. So we exchanged my numbers and turns out we were neighbours. He moved into his sisters house, and he's been texting me. He asked to go to the café down the street from where we lived and he told me he liked me and said he won't let cameron or Nash get to me. Which made me so confused, because how would he know if cam or Nash likes me. I don't believe they do but isn't that weird. Now I see him in Chicago. He was in LA when I left. How does he know which hotel were in and what room. How did he get the pizza. How'd he know we went to Starbucks!" I yell and start to panic

she passed me some water and started to think over things. "Okay this is so weird" she says and my phone buzzes
It was a text from Noah

Text: hey baby, why so shy? Meet me tonight at 8pm in the lobby or pretty boy won't see Chicago or you anytime soon. ;)

I read the text out loud and Maeve jumped

"You aren't going to see him, and who's pretty boy"

"I don't know. But I don't know what to do" I say and throw my phone

I heard a door knock and ran to the door I looked through the whole thing on the door and it was Nash and Hayes. I opened the door and greeted them and let me in.

While Maeve was stuffing her face in pizza Nash and Hayes laugh like seals.

She turned around embarrassed but she looked so cute.

"Excuse us" she says and pulls me into a room

"Me and Hayes broke up like 1 week ago and the reason why I came here was to stay away from them" she says fast but scared and out of breath

"Oh my god, girl I'm so sorry. I can tell him to leave" I say and she shakes her head and walks back out

"Who said you can eat our pizza?" I yell and Nash and Hayes stuff the whole pizza in their mouth and we all laugh.

I texted cameron telling him I'm alright and everything's fine. But I lied. I want him here to hold and protect me. I feel so secure with him and it's like no one can get to me like he does.
