Shrayn came to their chamber but stopped in her tracks and turned back, where Arthur had just entered and raised his eyebrow.
"What happened?" he asked, but she walked away, ignoring him, making him look at her with amusement.
"Aate hi biwiyo waali harkatein shuru?!" (Started acting like a wife the moment she arrived?!) he whispered to himself and sighed, following her.
"Why are you behind me?" Shrayn said in an irritated voice.
"Itni badi haveli hai, kahin kho naa jaaye aap, Sardarni." (The haveli is so big, I don't want you getting lost, Sardarni.) he said teasingly, shrugging his shoulders.
"I am not a five-year-old baby," Shrayn said, stomping on his foot and running away.
"And then she says she's not a baby," Arthur winced, following her.
"Stop, Ranisa," Arthur said, catching her waist, making her bump her head into his chest.
"Ouch," she scrunched her nose, rubbing her forehead with a pout.
"What do you want? Are you hungry? Looking for someone? What exactly do you want?" Arthur asked, making her sigh.
"Bhookh lagi hai," (I'm hungry) she murmured.
"Toh batayega kaun?" (Then who will tell me that?) he glared at her, making her glare back.
"Don't glare or I'll take your eyeballs out and shove them into your ass," Shrayn snapped.
"Ohh, kinky huh?" Arthur smirked, making her roll her eyes and push him.
"Go and make something for me. I'm hungry," Shrayn said, folding her arms. Arthur shook his head.
"Ordering a king to cook for you?" he asked, amused.
"Nah, ordering my husband to cook for me. Now go, Raja ji," Shrayn said, giving him a tight-lipped smile. A blush crept onto his cheeks.
Husband, huh?
"As you say, wifey," Arthur said, making his way to the kitchen. Her lips curved into a beautiful smile.
She ran after him, making him stop.
"What now?" Arthur asked.
"Just checking if you're really going to cook or going to make someone else do it?" Shrayn asked like a curious child. Arthur joined his hands.
"Typical desi biwi behavior," he said. She shrugged.
"Chalo ab," (Let's go now) she said, holding his hand as they both walked to the kitchen.
"What do you want to eat?" he asked, rolling up his sleeves.
"Aapka dimag," (Your brain) Shrayn replied, making him stop.
