Okay so we're rugby girls, so if there's anything wrong about the football thing we're really sorry.

Delta's POV

"This is perfect," Charlie grinned as she surveyed the crowd at the beginning of season football game. The Danawa was the most exciting football meet and almost everyone who was registered at UCLA went. The Bruins were playing the Cavaliers and both teams were about to run out onto the field to start the game.

"There are literally tons of hot guys here, Blue," I said. "There's no way you're going home without a date."

"Well I sure hope so," Blue sighed overdramatically and we all laughed just as overdramatically, already feeling the Danawa vibe. 'Danawa' meant 'war' in some native American language as far as I knew, but the whole thing wasn't so much a fight as it was a party.

We had to squeeze passed students who were already drunk, even though the sun had just set and the night had just begun. We reached Calum, Ashton, Michael and a vaguely familiar individual who seemed like Michael's plus one.

"And how is the squad doing?" Charlie asked enthusiastically as I sat down next to Calum and the other two took their seats.

"Fleeking, as always," Ashton smiled while theatrically putting on his sunglasses.

"Can you even see with those on?" Calum asked, laughing at Ashton.

"Not at all, my friend. But I'm hoping I look cool enough to pick up some chicks," Ashton folded his arms and gave us the sexiest look he could manage.

I turned to face Blue, a huge grin on my face.

"No," Blue said immediately with a horrified expression. "Not Ashton!"

We all burst out laughing just as trumpets sounded and mini fireworks flew up into the sky. The game was about to begin. We all stood up, cheering excitedly as the teams ran out onto the field. I spotted Jax and couldn't avoid an eye roll. The guy was a douche but an excellent quarter back.

We settled back down as the ref blew the whistle.

"Are you ever gonna introduce us, Michael?" Blue asked. I'd completely forgotten about the girl Michael had his arm around. She was most probably the girl he'd been speaking about earlier that week.

"Oh yeah," Michael said, "my bad. This is Riley."

Riley looked at us all a little shyly and smiled. "We stay in the same sorority, I think."

"I remember you," I said. "You're a freshman, right? I'm Delta." I watched as she frowned slightly when I introduced myself, a response I'd gotten way too often. Charlie and Blue introduced themselves and we all started talking excitedly, changing topics every second.

The crowd started cheering as Jax gained possession of the ball and passed it out wide to Tyler before dodging a tackle that would most probably have killed him. He sprinted forward and Tyler threw the ball. Jax went flying across the field and caught the ball in their end zone, scoring the first touchdown of the night.

Everyone went wild and the energy was contagious. I found myself cheering along, feeling just as excited as everyone else.

We sat back down just as someone selling beer made their way passed. Ashton was the only one who could legally buy and received a very suspicious look when he ordered seven cans. He explained, very unconvincingly, that it was all for him, but ended up successfully purchasing the alcohol.
