As Calum and I came out of our Math lecture we spotted the rest of the squad at a table in the courtyard. He took his place next to Delta while I squeezed myself in between Michael and Ashton.

"What are you guys up to?" Calum asked them.

"Nothing much, just waiting for you. How was Math?" Delta said turning to him.

They carried on talking to each other for the next few minutes and I decided to indulge myself in a conversation with Michael.

"Hey Mikey. How's Riley doing? You going easy on her?" I gave him a quick wink and all he did was roll his eyes.

"Haha, very funny. You seem happy, Luke must have done something right last night," he said with a sly smirk but I didn't find that funny.

After I took it upon myself to only concentrate on the investigation and school I prayed that I wouldn't see Luke again. My prayers were somewhat answered as I only saw him once.

I was on my way back to the sorority when I heard my name and turned around to face Luke, luckily for me however he had to go seeing as his next class would start soon. Personally I didn't even think he cared if he was late but he sensed the tension.

Back to the present, I simply replied with a, "whatever."

Just as Michael was about to reply, the angels gave Ashton a voice and he spoke instead.

"Charlie tells me that you broke into the police station. Why didn't you care to share this information. We could've helped."

"Its okay, we were fine. We made it out alive didn't we?" Delta answered him ending her conversation with Calum.

"What did you find?" Michael asked this time.

"We got the IDs of suspects but can't get it to open, we saw a prototype bottle that the poison was in and a note that was found at the tree," Charlie informed them.

"What's the poison's name?" Michael asked. AGAIN.

"Ac- aco..." Charlie attempted.

"Aconite," I helped, "It almost can't be traced and is very dangerous. It also only takes effect after and hour of consumption."

"Wow," Ashton said genuinely interested, "and the note? Anything important?"

"The Hunger Games reference. 'Are you, are you, coming to the tree'," Calum told him.

Everyone now refrained from their side conversations and was listening to what was being said.

"Wait, how did the murderer know she would be at the tree?" Michael questioned.

He had a point for once. Unless they got her there somehow.

"What if she was dragged there?" Charlie suggested.

"That can't be possible. You saw the pictures, Charlie. There were no signs of drag marks," Calum pointed out.

"Maybe she was lured there," Delta offered.

"Yeah, and the murderer knew at which time to poison her so that she would be at the tree at the time she died," I agreed. "The question is however, how did they lure her there?"
