It was late in the evening and everyone was settling in for the night. Wuxian, Wangji, Xichen, and Jiang Cheng all shared a space in Qishan as they were at the indoctrination. In the morning, everyone was to meet for the first day and the introduction of the indoctrination and what they will be doing.
At the moment, Wangji and Xichen were the only two who knew of Wuxian's real identity. Jiang Cheng, still knew him to be Xiao Wuji.
Wuxian had just finished his bath and dressed in simple black robes he would use wear to sleep in. He stepped out from behind the privacy screen and he immediately felt eyes on him. He glanced towards the direction he felt the stare coming from and found Wangji's beautiful eyes glowing in awe. Wangji looked like he saw the most beautiful person in the world and he didn't seem to care who was in the room.
Wuxian cleared his throat and sat at the table where Wangji was. Wangji had a pot of tea made as he usually had tea before going to bed.
"Is something wrong?" Wuxian asked Wangji, "or am I too pretty that you cannot look away from me?"
Wangji smiled, "you look nice in simple robes, and with your hair down," he replied.
Wuxian sighed and glanced at Jiang Cheng who happened to be chatting away with Lan Xichen. Neither of them seemed to be paying attention to him or Wangji. Wuxian smiled and sat on his knees before leaning over the table, "is there something you want?" Wuxian couldn't resign flirting.
Wangji did not reply with words, but he did reply with action. He grabbed Wuxian's face gently and pulled him in to kiss him. He did not care that his brother and Jiang Cheng were in the room. He just wanted to kiss Wuxian. Wuxian couldn't help but giggle as he took hold of Wangji's hands.
Wangji pulled back as the two held hands, "much better," Wangji said.
"Mnn, I agree," Wuxian said, "but I think we gained an audience."
The two glanced over at Lan Xichen and Jiang Cheng. Lan Xichen could only shake his head in amusement while Jiang Cheng looked more likely to want to scream, but he kept it to himself. Instead the fact he made, just made him look a bit constipated.
"I am sure they are fine," Wangji said.
Wuxian laughed again at Wangji's words, "what is it with you and showing off your affection towards me in front of others? First in the middle of a lecture and now in front of our brothers."
"I like to think it is a way to show others that you are mine," Wangji said.
"Oh, possessive," Wuxian said.
"Mnn, for you, I always will be," Wangji told him.
Wuxian knew he was not joking either. After the things the two have been through and have to basically live it all over again, they did not want to waste their time and they did not want to let others have their way again. Not only did Wangji become possessive of Wuxian, but Wuxian became possessive of Wangji.
Still not caring about who was watching, Wuxian moved to sit on Wangji's lap, he snuggled close to him and rested his head on Wangji's chest. Wangji wrapped his arms around him to secure him.
"Is that necessary?" Jiang Cheng asked.
Wuxian looked at him, "I just wanted some cuddles, who knows what will happen while we are here. Some comfort goes a long way."
Xichen knew that Wuxian was bluffing about what would happen, he wanted to know what happened in the previous life but he didn't know if he should ask.
Wuxian could see his dilemma, "if you must know, be prepared for your swords to be taken tomorrow. I heard some Wen Disciples talking about it as we entered Qishan."
