58| Bonus 1: Cafuné

"Cafuné" is a Portuguese word, specifically Brazilian Portuguese, that doesn't have a direct equivalent in English. It describes the act of gently running your fingers through someone's hair, particularly a loved one's, as a gesture of affection or tenderness. It carries a sense of intimacy and calm. 

A/N: Hello dear Manan Readers! This was unexpected, right? There are thwo reasons I decided to write this chapter, and I will bore you with the explanation before you begin, so forgive me for that!

1. I live in India and as most of my readers will be aware of the geopolitical situation we are in, I won't be exaggerating, if I say, we are at war with our neighboring nation, Pakistan. I also acknowledge I have some readers from Pakistan following this story, so this seemed like a befitting time to write a chapter on love, that could bring the readers of two warring nations together to read and cherish about love and calmness. It is to this cause, I have named this Bonus chapter, Cafuné - a gesture of affection, intimacy and calm. 

2. I decided to get back to writing, so I am frequenting Wattpad again, to see so many new readers are engaging in this book. I feel a bit bad that even after reading 57 chapters, while the story ends satisfactorily, there is no immediate feeling of happiness you draw from there. I want my readers to leave this book with a smile of hope on their lips, and as assurance that more Bonus chapters will follow (sooner or later!) :D

"Hey, boy! What's today's schedule like? What scenes are we shooting here?" Manik asked, as he entered the sets of his new movie after two years. Well, after the massive success of his last movie, which he starred alongside Nandini, and Dhruv recovered more than five times of the loss he had incurred previously, there were a lot of offers pouring in. The world was given a taste of the cinematic magic of Manik Malhotra after a year and half and all they could ask for was more. However, Manik had held his ground this time. He had only done that movie to make good to his promise to Dhruv Vedant and to ensure, his Nandini got a befitting entry into stardom as a heroine. He had no other vested interest. He had decided to quit acting after that - so he had done that. His announcement on a press interaction post the success of his and Nandini's movie, came as a shocker to showbiz and all over the nation! Why were they not going to see their favourite hero fighting a venomous villain or saving the love of his life on celluloid? The answer was simple. Manik was done shining, he wished to be a shadow to a new star now. His star, his Nandini and lead a quiet life, behind the screen. While most didn't agree to it, but, if the hero decided to rest, who could stop him?

So, after two years of efforts on reviving his production house, renaming it in honour of his grandmother, Late. Asha Devi, and locking on the scripts, talent and logistics, he had announced to the press that Manik Malhotra was coming back! Only, this time as a producer, not an actor! He was collaborating with his friend and fellow actor Karan Chopra, who was making his directorial debut with this movie, starring the heartthrob of showbiz, Aryamann Khanna and the brightest star of cinema, Nandini Manik Malhotra!

"S..sir, we are umm doing some scenes to..dday. Umm, ss..ir, you were not sched..duled to v..isit today, rrr...ight?" Rishabh Murthy stutterd, in response. He was the assistant director for the movie, and even though he was terrified of Manik Malhotra, upon Nandu di's and Arya bhaiya's insistence, he was hired by Karan sir, much to the irritation of Manik sir! To Rishab's relief, Manik sir didn't visit the set or locations everyday, he managed his business from his production house, but mostly when Nandu di shot with Arya bhaiya, he'd come for a visit. Although, Karan sir, Arya bhaiya and Nandu di and tried hard to keep him from visiting the set today, alas all failed, as he walked up to the location sharp on time, asking for the day's schedule. Now Rishabh will be beheaded. No one can save him!
