I'd like to be someone people care about. But I'm not.
I'm so remarkably unremarkable that nobody asks about me.
When I speak, eyes glaze over like donuts.
When I try, people feel completely comfortable saying no.
When I do something remarkable, people say 'that's nice'.
When I make jokes, I get pity laughs.
When I cry, nobody comforts me.
When I exist, I might as well not.
This is the life of the invisible man.
