The Invisible Man

I'd like to be someone people care about. But I'm not.

I'm so remarkably unremarkable that nobody asks about me.

When I speak, eyes glaze over like donuts.

When I try, people feel completely comfortable saying no.

When I do something remarkable, people say 'that's nice'.

When I make jokes, I get pity laughs.

When I cry, nobody comforts me.

When I exist, I might as well not.

This is the life of the invisible man.
