If I'm constantly thinking of her,
Does that mean she thinks of me?
If I'm always messaging her,
But it takes her hours to reply,
Is she thinking positively of me?
If I'm finding ways for us to talk,
Is she just replying?
Or is she participating, engaging, enjoying?
Is it two ways,
If only one is free flowing
And the other is as still as an icy lake?
If days are going by
And she hasn't reached out,
But I have, am I the problem?
Or the solution?
Could a lifetime go by for us both
And she never think of me once?
Am I deluded or am I dumb?
For thinking she was the one?
There's the old saying;
If you look up at the stars,
Somewhere, someone is looking up at those same stars.
But is she ever looking at them with me?
