Words of Wisdom to the New Guy

Dear New Guy,

She loves back scratches. She needs her back cracked a lot so get ready for that.

She loves sunflowers, and walks with her dog.

She's not as affectionate all the time, as when she is in private. She's also a bit kinky, sometimes. She loves privacy, but also appreciates going out on romantic dates (that you have to plan). Her favourite movie is the little prince, her favourite book is the sun and her flowers, her favourite songs are Build Me Up Buttercup and A Team cover by Birdy. She is the best person I've ever met, and to this day still makes me very emotionally happy when I remember her. She still made me the best birthday present I've ever had (oh that's another thing, she loves creative stuff, things that you make her or you make together).

She hates surprises, unless she has absolutely no idea about them. Yellow is her favourite, though she likes blue too. She's into her makeup and dancing and even though she'll always deny it she's a great singer. She loves sweets, like Reece's peanut butter cups, Whitaker's chocolate, Ben and Jerry's Half Baked, is essentially anything else from the dairy up the road from her house.

She loved Doctor Who, which was probably my fault but she may still care to watch from time to time. She loved Pretty Little Liars, The Good Place, Black Mirror, Anne with an E and a myriad of other Netflix Shows. She loves Disney films, like Aladdin and other classics. She loves listening to slower music, softer but with more meaning. A few of these songs are Zombie by the Cranberries, anything by Melanie Martinez, Adele by Tapes, Flaws by Chloe Foy or Stars by Sam Airey. 

She loves op shops, thrift stores, second hand clothing of that nature. She's an incredibly talented writer, a gifted student with knowledge and skills for years. She doesn't like shouting, or violence, or yelling or anger (although I assure myself that you'd never treat her in that way regardless). She loves feeling like a princess, a queen. Loved and admired, for she is a thing of beauty. 

There aren't always good times, sometimes she forgets how many people love her. Sometimes she has long nights where she needs to be read too, spoken too, sung too or read passages too. Sometimes she will want to stay up late and play games. Sometimes she'll want to call you names and make you jealous. But you must never let her win. Be there for her, show her you care and never falter from telling her you care. 

She also likes watermelon, tuna and cream cheese on crackers. Her mother runs a salon and her dad is a mechanic/electrician. Her sister is in Uni but also teaches swimmers and is also a dancer.

I'm telling you all this so you're prepared. So you know, so you can give it your all having all the best knowledge available. So you don't screw up, like I did. Because trust me, screw this up, it will hurt for a long time. It still hurts. But I wish you well. I wish you both well. And I will always be here, for both of you, if you should ever need.
