Do you know how frustrating it is to live in a Modern World
Where texts go unanswered for days
weeks
months
Because you decided they weren't as important as someone else's.
Where messages go unseen for weeks
months
years
Because you 'didn't have the time'
Where the entire sum of attraction is decided upon images in an app designed by people
millionaires
AI robots
Because it's easier for everyone to just pair off whoever is left over
Where phones don't make calls anymore because it's easier to text
leave voicemails
forever unheard
Because the idea of hearing them was too exhausting
Where seeking attention is love bombing and the idea of being unashamedly you is uncool
too much
too cholent
Because the world decided caring isn't cool anymore
Where I feel like I could message a hundred people to ask to hang out and maybe half
a quarter
four max would respond
Because the others figured they'd wait for a better offer.
How am I going to survive in a world that hates talking
interaction
affection
love
And only romanticizes the elite with other elite, and simplifies the normal human experience to nothing other than not worth looking into.
I am a normal person trying my best, but apparently that isn't good enough
too much
unlovable
And I still can't figure it out.
