Maybe if I was like him
Then I could do what you want
I could read your whole mind

When we were in high school
This might've been a good idea
To quietly, silently seethe
And stew in silent contemplation

But we're nearing 26
And silence isn't communication
It fixes no problems
Heals no wounds
And mends no broken bridges

I will make amends
Whenever you want
For all of my wrongs
But I can't make them without context

So if you have a grudge
Or an issue
Or a problem
Talk to me
Tell me
Let's make it right

But don't ignore the problem
Or my mind will run wild
And will make a mountain out of that molehill
