What must the shore look like to the ocean
When the flags get put just out of reach
And the people walk away dripping with the memory of you
As the wind blows past while you continue to crash again and again, reaching for the land
It must look so vast, expansive, tall and glorious
So lush and green
So rocky and beige
So full of life and adventure
So colourful and complete
But the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
