Third Person POV.
Kingsland.

" We shouldn't be here," the man said nervously in the middle of the night.
"Do you think I wanted to be here? We have no choice. Orders are orders. Anything suspicious in this area must be reported to the battalion commander," another man replied, his tone equally nervous.
They were two city guards who had been walking for over an hour through the noble district. Both seemed deeply shaken by recent events. First, the death of Janos Slynt, which shocked not only the soldiers but even the court. And he died along with three dozen city guards, killed by a stranger who, according to reports, moved faster than any human.
And, on the same night, the monster appeared in King's Landing.
They described it as a wolf-like creature that walked like a man. Muscular, covered in white fur, and taller than Gregor Clegane himself—the Mountain. They called it the Giant Werewolf.
And so it began hunting its victims. City guards were mercilessly slaughtered. Despite being mere soldiers doing their duty, they were attacked for trying to confront it. There had been no civilian casualties so far. However, the massacre created a bloodbath in various parts of the city, especially on the Street of Silk.
The entire city was terrified. The guard had become ineffective, and rumors spread quickly. Many said the Werewolf was on the people's side.
"That monster is protecting us after everything they've done!" some shouted.
Others, like the septon himself, however, condemned it as some kind of demon that should be eradicated as a wish of the Seven.
And its actions had consequences. Many criminals took advantage of the situation, as the guards began patrolling less, to commit crimes. The monster's presence had weakened the guard's effectiveness.
But this disorder did not last long. Soon, the wolf stopped attacking only the city guard and began hunting rapists and murderers on the Street of Silk. In the past few days, the screams of criminals had been heard, their bodies tossed into ditches after being torn apart.
This made crime stop completely. After all, there was no courage when the monster was lurking—it simply killed all the guilty in its path.
Obviously, entire groups were formed by the king's order to try to contain it, but they were ineffective. The creature was smart and avoided direct confrontations. However, if provoked, it attacked with brutal force. Its greatest feat was killing ten men at the same time before vanishing like a ghost. This only increased the terror and legend surrounding it.
No one knew exactly where it had come from, but theories began to circulate. And one of them was particularly curious.
A symbol began to be associated with the city folk—the figure of a giant wolf. Many witnesses said the creature strongly resembled this animal.
Soon, rumors started to spread:
"The giant wolf is the materialization of the Old Gods, condemning the king and queen for imprisoning a Stark!"
This quickly fueled even more rumors about Joffrey Baratheon being a bastard.
The Giant Werewolf seemed to affirm this theory with its mere existence. To many, it was a divine sign that the gods were taking revenge, hunting the enemies of the Starks.
The legend had become so popular that even the streets seemed emptier at night. Fear dominated King's Landing.
People whispered in alleys and taverns:
