"Use this." Jon handed Daenerys a very well-made dress, which the girl looked at with surprise, wondering how he had managed to get something like that.

"How did you get this?" she asked, opening the dress and seeing its finely worked fabric. It was a noble and very expensive dress.

"I took it from some noblewomen when I was at the Red Keep, this one being from my own cousin, who has a body somewhat similar to yours. It might be a little tight or a little loose, I don't know yet, but it will still fit." he said, as she nodded, taking the fabric and unfolding it.

"Anyway, we'll look for a tailor for you. We can make good use of many of the dresses I have stored." he added.

"Thank you..." she murmured, looking with a bright spark in her eyes at the thought of wearing a feminine dress.

It was already morning, and the city was starting to get busy. Jon asked for breakfast to be brought to them. While they waited, they had coffee, and both wore more suitable clothing.

Then, they left the luxurious inn, heading out into the streets of Braavos. It wasn't the mess of the lower part of the city, where merchants and poorer people lived near the port.

"And to think I'd be here again." Daenerys couldn't help but murmur.

Jon observed the streets, filled with many wealthy noblemen walking with guards and carriages, which was quite common in that part of the city.

"This isn't far from the mansion of the late Ser Willem Darry." Jon said.

"Really...?" she murmured, but seemed a bit sad.

Clearly, it was a painful memory in her life, even though Ser Willem Darry had been very good to her, and even taught her to read and write through his tutors. But after his death, the problems of the two children had only begun.

"Anyway, let's go. We're going straight to speak with the Sea Lord of Braavos." Jon said.

"You think he'll receive us?" Daenerys murmured with some suspicion.

"At first, no. But we'll present ourselves as Targaryens. And I... can be quite persuasive." he said with a small smile.

"All right." she nodded, believing Jon could handle everything.

"Now give me your arm." he asked, and she did, as he kept her close to him.

They walked through the streets like a noble couple. Despite her platinum hair and violet eyes drawing attention, the same could be said of Jon's eyes.

As they walked, they ignored the stares—some people wondering who they were, finding it strange they had no guards, while others noted how well they dressed and their rather exotic appearance, making their way through the streets.

No one bothered them, nonetheless, and it wasn't long before they finally arrived at the entrance of the Sea Lord's grand mansion. The inn they had stayed in was quite close by.

"Let's go." Jon said calmly, heading toward the gates, where at least six guards stood at the entrance. The mansion had a high wall, but from the iron gate, they could see a huge, well-maintained garden before reaching the house, which was massive with four floors.

"Did you know there are some luxury prostitutes here who hold more political power than many of the city's nobles?" Jon chatted with Daenerys about what he knew of Braavos.
