[Chapter Size: 2000 Words.]
Third Person POV.
Beyond of the Wall....
...
The body of the man over 240 cm tall began to be lifted through a pole with him crucified, his hands once again tied, suspending the body nailed to the wood on the pole, while his back was opened like wings held by threads, and his belly was cut and empty, completely dead.
The men looked at it still with different expressions, most of them with some kind of horror, not understanding why that southerner had suffered such punishment from the Dragonborn.
At the same time, the rumors of those who heard Jon answering Tormund about the reason began to spread, with people saying that the man had killed Jon's brother when he was only two years old.
Jon was looking satisfied as he cleaned the blood from his hand with some cloths and a barrel of water he had taken from storage to sanitize himself, while he cast one last satisfied look at the body of the Mountain. He had no doubt that the man could turn into a wight, due to the White Walkers needing a soul and imprisoning it to be able to use their necromancy magic, while the Mountain's body was lacking one now.
So, to him, it didn't really matter. He turned his gaze to his companions, who had not left the place, while Lucis and Daenerys were the most affected by the scene. They certainly didn't like violence, and Jon had been quite harsh, so he couldn't blame them for it.
He left the place while Tormund glanced over. Jon simply took a bottle of wine from his storage and threw it to the red-haired giant, who caught it immediately, looking at it.
"A gift, since I got a lot of these on this trip," Jon said.
He had his storage full of treasures, weapons, and expensive goods after looting several vaults. He robbed the Red Keep, robbed the brothels of King's Landing that belonged to Littlefinger, robbed House Tully and House Lannister after looting the Citadel. So he had tons of gold and all kinds of things inside his storage space, where it was possible to place everything that wasn't alive or didn't have a soul — that's why he couldn't put people or even corpses in there. But Jon was at this moment one of the richest men in Westeros and could take his things wherever he wanted.
"No way to complain about that, my friend. Thank you," Tormund said, opening a smile, seeing a good alcohol, better than anything he could drink beyond the Wall, tired of the fermented milk with alcohol produced there.
He then followed, stopping next to Mance, who looked at him cautiously.
"Let's talk tomorrow. Today I just want to rest and don't want to deal with anything else," Jon said.
While Mance nodded without saying anything, Jon returned to the girls.
"Let's go to the tent," he said, without saying another word as he walked ahead.
They looked at each other but followed him, while Jon found his wolf Ghost standing in the middle of the path."It's good to see you," Jon said, feeling a powerful connection between him and the wolf stronger than the one he had even with Winter, as if they had a blood bond due to the skinchanging link.
The wolf, which was twice the size of Grey Wind that he had seen next to Robb in Riverrun, slightly moved its head while making a small sound.
Jon then headed to the tent with Ghost and the four women following, while the crowd made way for them to pass, murmuring things all the time and greeting him.
Lucis's brother immediately came to approach him, while Jon asked him not to say anything and just ruffled his hair. "We'll talk tomorrow, I'll stay in my tent all day." He said, just wanting to relax.
The tent where he lived, being different from the command tent where he held meetings, was equally large, with a dozen giant wolves left around it. Jon just waved at them, having a warg connection with all of them, left Ghost to take care of them, and moved forward.Jon entered the tent and found everything just as he had left it — filled with things from the south that he had brought, since he took them from Winterfell and even from Illyrio's mansion in Pentos. Cutlery, goblets, cups, wines, fruits could still be seen around the place, this one and even Mance's tent filled with such things, since Jon had gifted Della with some things because of the baby.
