Was to be with you..

Was willing to leave my palace,
And move in to desert too..

I never feared darkness, she was a dear friend,
Though even in her company, comfort was named after you..

And even the rain now is just another cold reminder..

Do you think of me as much as I do?
Something tells me you do, but I'm still bound to stay away from you..

For the hurt that follows the falling is unbearable,
I gave you my soul, only for you to love another..

Now you come knocking at my door,
I'm just glued to the floor as I watch the weeks grow old..
