"-And you just left it all there?!" Yejun fumed, arms crossed as he stared down the guild master.

I hadn't seen my brother take that tone with anyone but myself, and I was surprised to see him taking it with someone like Carson. My guess was that it was a mix between Carson's easy going nature, and the fact that he was becoming more comfortable with his own worth. Before it was just me, his doting sister, telling him he was a really gifted person. I was sure that both he and his professors were quickly learning just how right I was.

The reason for Yejun's ire? Well, he had been quite excited at first to be honest. Most of the strike- team had dispersed once we got back to the guild, but Carson stated he wanted to take the poison runestone to the new lab, built just for Yejun. It was late, and my brother should have been back from school by now.

Bryce, Kuro, and I followed him.

As expected, Yejun had been elated to have the runestone, plus the mana stones as a bonus. But not long after, while they were all chatting, the men made the mistake of mentioning all the monster parts that we had to leave behind in the instance. And when Yejun learned about the abandoned crab shells, and the venom of the Gilla-gantum, he got angry.

"Yejun, we are not a big enough guild to have monster harvesting team." Carson sighed, ever patient. "And sub-contracting just isn't financially smart for a three-star instance. Even with the added income from your sister's passive skill."

"Alright, I get that... but why not at least take the venom! Mana vials are small and can be as easily carried as mana stones. I'm sure that the venom would have been worth more than some of the stones you all picked up."

"Sure, but what are we supposed to put the stuff in? Mana vials are not cheep, and don't even mention item boxes. How do you expect us to get our hands on those without going poor?" Carson argued.

At that Yejun gave the guild master such a stink-eye that I couldn't help but laugh. "Why did you hire me, if not to make those things?" He asked, as if he thought Carson might have taken a few too many blows to the head on that beach today.

Carson stared blankly at Yejun for a long moment before finding his words again. "You can make mana vials and item boxes?"

I could understand Carson's disbelief. I wasn't an expert in item creation, nor enchanting, but I had spent enough time around Yejun to pick up a few things. I knew, as well as our guild master, that the items- collectively referred to as 'item boxes'- were very hard to come by. They rarely drop below the eleventh floor of the tower, and even when they do drop, most of the time they can only hold a minimal amount.

The ring that the guild master of the Northern Paladins- Ryan Parker- had was a good example. It was very expensive, yet it could hold only one item in it, no matter the weight. So Yejun stating that he could just craft them was almost ridiculous.

"Make them? No, or at least not very good ones. But if you bring me properly constructed vials and containers, then I can enchant them how you want." Yejun stated, sighing and sitting on a stool before several instruments I had no clue of the function. "I can't say they will be great at fist, but after I enchant and adjust a few times, I'm sure that I can make something more than sufficient for the guild's needs."

It was when I saw the guild master's eyes light up that I knew that my brother wasn't going to get into trouble. Having that sorted, I let the two ramble on into discussions about what did, and did not, constitute as an appropriate 'container', and instead decided to talk with the other two men in the room.

Turning to them, my thoughts of a marginally entertaining conversation vanished. Right... I was here with Kuro and Bryce... the two men least likely to carry a conversation. At least one that was outside of 'strictly business'.
