"I am not a toy." I stated firmly, not liking how his statement had made me think of Misfortune. I think I had enough of people thinking I was their plaything, thank you very much.
"Oh? You look pretty breakable though." Grinned Argus, ignoring the glares he was receiving from the two blonde men in the room. "Should little girls like you really be getting into fights?"
I narrowed my eyes on him. My first instinct was to challenge him to spare and see how he felt then. But I scrapped that nearly at once. This guy was nearly four times my body mass! I'd be flattened in a second unless I had some epic skill to combat him, which I absolutely did not have.
"Why are you even here Argus?" Sighed Eric, cracking his knuckles and drawing the behemoth's attention. "I thought Carson sent you to go help out the Knox guild?"
Argus snorted, scratching his ear like he didn't have a care in the world. "I finished that bull in a flash. Those Knox guys should just give up the struggle and be eaten by us."
Knox... I thought I heard of them before. I was pretty sure that they were a fairly new guild in town. Oh! Right, I remember Yejun talking about them a few weeks ago. Something about them being a guild focusing on production classes. Their combat strength was lacking, but he found it fascinating that they were dedicated to improving production classes, and providing other guilds with magical equipment and the like.
Given that Yejun would also be considered a production class, his admiration for the Knox guild wasn't a surprise. Though, why a beast like Argus was helping them out I did not know. I pictured him as a huge bear, standing over the trembling little bunnies that was the Knox Guild. Poor things.
"I mean, if they can't even handle a Three-Star instance on their own then what is the point of even making a guild?" Laughed Argus.
"I can't say you are wrong." Mumbled Eric, looking like he would rather not agree with Argus on much of anything. "We did offer to have them merge with us, but they are so determined to go it alone."
"Production classes have always been prideful." Stated a familiar voice, nearly making me jump as I hadn't expected it.
The boys turned around, having not heard the others enter the room either. I had to step around Argus to see, given the damn man was built like a freaking wall.
Just entering the room were four new people, lead by none other than the Chaos Guild's master, Carson. It was strange to think he looked tiny now that I had Argus towering over me. Though, thinking of all the Chaos members I had met so far, the smallest was their healer, Aiden, and he was still a really strong looking guy. What the hell were they feeding the people in this guild?
Carson wasn't the only familiar face to enter Training Room A, however. To my surprise, Carson was followed in by none other than the Northern Paladin's guild master, Ryan Parker. I hadn't seen him since the sealed instance incident, but he looked pretty well the same. A large man with styled black hair, warm brown eyes, and an air of easy power about him. Like the last time I laid eyes on him, he was wearing slacks and a button up shirt this time too.
With him were a beautiful woman with long black hair, and brown eyes framed prettily behind dark rimmed glasses. She looked dainty next to the others, though her face had a fierceness about it, and her eyes seemed to take everything in in a single glace. Some how, when I looked at her, I thought 'this woman is very competent'. She saw me staring and flashed me a kind smile which I returned some what awkwardly.
Next to her stood a much older gentlemen. Though, his grey hair, five O'clock shadow, and bifocals did not hide the fact that he was also a hell of a lot stronger looking than I was. If I had to guess, I would have to say that he was a retired raider. He had a stern but curious look about him as his eyes roamed over us all.
