For the first time in her life, Faust stepped out of an interdimensional portal- and it was onto a foreign world. A Soil world, no less.

She actually hadn't exspected it at all. She thought that the summoning would be automatically canceled, and that she would suddenly find herself back in the Master's study, where she had just been delivering documents with one of the other aids. But no, she found herself standing in a green field filled with yellow flowers, a warm breeze, and the sound of children shouting in the distance.

Faust gazed at the landscape before her in actual wonder. How was this even possible?!

There were sporadic trees dotted about, a busy street behind the instance, with tall buildings reaching up to the sky. To the front was the green field, which climbed a gentle slope, where she could just make out a chain-link fence, and a relatively short brick building beyond. It was from that direction that the sounds of children could be heard.

"You would think they would keep the kids inside with a freaking instance right outside the school." grumbled the shorter, lankier male that Faust had heard be called Nick at some point.

The man in an odd mix of suit and armor, shrugged. "The entrance is guarded, and the kids are on the other side of a fence."

"I imagine keeping an entire school of children indoors, on a day like today, would seem like more of a calamity than if the gate spilled out every monster within it."

"Don't even joke about that." Sighed her master's toy, the woman named Aoife. She slapped the lanky man on the back of his head. "Well, looks like you are a type of summon that can be brought to Earth. That's rare." The woman smiled at Faust.

Her ignorant cheer snapped Faust out of her daze. "It shouldn't be possible!" She said, confusion and panic coursing though her. "Direct summoning to a Soil plane is unheard of! This has to be against the System..."

"What do you mean?" Sighed the massive male with pale skin and bright red hair. Faust was taller than him, but he must have had over a hundred pounds on her. Not that Faust was worried. "It may be rare, but people can summon their-"

"Not a direct summon!" Faust interrupted. The Master may have found such an event intriguing, and even fun, but Faust was on the verge of panic. Was something wrong with the System? Had the Master finally gone too far and done something to crash the whole thing?! Faust wasn't used to being so uncomposed, but in this instance it seemed rather justified. "A construct, or even an elemental summon, may be possible, but... you just can't summon people to the Soil!"

"Soil?" Asked the suited man, fishing for information yet again.

But, Faust wasn't listening. She had started to pace as the instance fizzled out of existence at her back. This was against some of the most concrete laws of the System! beings of other realms can not enter other worlds... it just wasn't done! She could only imagine that people residing in the Crown city were even more excluded from ever doing this.

If such things could happen... well the implications were horrifying. The System made it specifically so stronger, foreign beings, couldn't enter the far weaker Soil worlds. Otherwise they would be destroyed, and the rest of the Tower would fall! This was- was against the very laws of nature!

"Er, take it easy Faust." Cautioned Aoife, looking concerned. "I'm not going to make you fight or anything here."

"That is besides-" She forced herself to stop the pacing and let out a frustrated breath, looking down on the woman who had summoned her in an accusatory manner. "Do you just break things as a hobby or something?"
