Y/n awakens from his nap to see that Ruby is still holding him tightly. His movements alerted Ruby who only smiled in response.
Ruby: Have a good nap?
Y/n didn't respond and instead sat himself upwards.
Y/n: Thanks.
Ruby: Well what else would a lover be good for?
Ruby sits herself up.
Y/n checks his scroll to the relief that nobody has tried to contact him. But at that moment he got a message from Salem who asked to see him in her office as soon as he was available.
Y/n: I got to go.
Ruby smirked and turned Y/n's head to face her then placed a kiss onto his lips. They kiss for a few moments before they part their lips.
Ruby chuckles
Ruby: I missed those lips.
Y/n sighs.
Y/n: I missed you.
Ruby smiles.
Ruby: I have to go too. I got some business to take care of.
The two go their separate ways.
Y/n heads up to Salem's office. As he enters he sees Salem and a very muscular man.
Salem: Y/n. I am glad you could join us. This is an old enemy turned ally, Hercules.
Hercules walks up to Y/n and extends a hand which Y/n shakes. When Y/n let's go, he find that Hercules doesn't.
Hercules: Let's make one thing clear. Your mother killed my father. But before you assume I hate you or her for it. I do not. Salem told me that you want to be stronger.
Y/n: Yeah.
Hercules nods.
Hercules: Then let's get started.
Hercules releases Y/n and walks towards the elevator.
Hercules takes Y/n to a rocky area.
Hercules: Okay. Now punch me as hard as you can, right in the chest.
Y/n listens and punches Hercules full force: however Hercules is unfazed as he looks at the punch.
Hercules: Now transform into that other form you got, and not the big one.
Y/n transforms into his first transformation.
Hercules: Now punch me again.
Y/n punches Hercules again who still seems unfazed.
Hercules: Alright. Now we train.
Y/n reverted back to his human form.
Y/n: What was the point of that?
Hercules: So I can remember how hard you've hit so far. Then we'll do it again once the training is done.
Y/n: So what first?
Hercules goes and grabs a large boulder and places it in front of Y/n.
Hercules: Pick it up, and don't transform.
Y/n tries to pick up the boulder but can't lift it up.
Hercules: This boulder will be your goal. Once you can carry it around, you will have completed training. You will have to work to get there and must find your own way to get stronger afterwards.
Y/n: I'm ready.
Hercules began to train Y/n: meanwhile however, Salem had a meeting of her own.
Salem meets with Roman in her office.
Salem: Has your associate found anything?
Roman: Now-now. Don't doubt Neo. She may be small, but she is always resourceful.
Salem: That didn't answer my question.
Roman: Yes. She seems to think that she knows where the prison is. Should we investigate?
Salem: No. Not yet. We need to make sure Ozma doesn't have any more attacks planned for the near future. We were lucky to have held them off last time.
Roman: Maybe. But with Hercules here now we shouldn't have too many problems.
Salem: Perhaps. But...I still worry. I thought we had victory for sure when we have Fenrir and Garm. But I payed for my foolishness.
Roman: That wasn't your fault. We didn't expect such a genocide to be possible.
Salem: That was the problem. We didn't expect it when we should've...I should've. I know how Ozma thinks: I should've seen it coming.
Roman: For now...all we can do is look to the future.
Salem: You are correct. That is all we can hope for.
Days pass and Y/n and Hercules just finish a training session.
Y/n: Hercules, can I ask you something?
Hercules: Of course.
Y/n: You knew my father right?
Hercules: You could say that.
Y/n: How did he fight?
Hercules looks to the sky for a moment.
Hercules: If I could describe his style, it would be something along the lines of an athletic brawler. That was something he shared with his brother. Those two together were a dangerous duo.
Y/n: How did...Garm die?
Hercules: It took many to kill him. He only died because he was isolated and alone. There was nobody that could have saved him.
Y/n: Were you a part of it?
Hercules: No. I was elsewhere seeking revenge against your mother. It was the last time I fought her.
Y/n: Do you remember Summer Rose?
Hercules: The silver eyed warrior that Ozma wanted to use to defeat Salem. I knew her.
Y/n: My father killed her?
Hercules: And she killed him. But considering the situation: the stalemate was more in his favor than hers.
Y/n: How did you end up becoming allied with Salem?
Hercules: That is a story about parental approval and realizing that I didn't need it. That's all you need to know.
Y/n nods.
Hercules: Hey, kid.
Y/n: Yeah?
Hercules: If you are anything like either of your parents. That means you are a powerhouse just waiting to be unleashed. And I'm going to break that cage wide open.
Y/n: Good. Time for more training?
Hercules: You don't see me stopping you.
