Wonderland Descendants {Completed}

Chapter 4: First Appearance

"Everyone look! The limo is on its way!" Ben announces on his small, wooden platform. Indeed, the long black limo drove along the red carpeted road and towards the front doors of Auradon Prep.

Carlos held Dude in his arms with Evie gripping onto the leash in case Dude tried to jump to greet the new people. The Cheshire Cat's daughter is coming after all.

The limo parks right in front of them and the driver opens the door. A pink and purple striped cat, a white rabbit, a blonde haired boy, and green eyed girl walk out. Ben starts to step forward to shake the rabbit's paw but the girl stops him.

"Umm... Just give them a second..." She musters an awkward smile as Ben steps back.

The pink cat seems to be waving her tail around in a pattern, and a fume of purple smoke rises up around it. When the smoke disappears, a girl with black and pink hair is standing, stretching her arms. And when the white rabbit did the same in a cloud of silver smoke, a boy the same age was brushing a hand through his brown hair.

"Yeah, your driver thought the Cheshire Cat's daughter and the White Rabbit's son were literally going to be house pets. I would take that as a mistake on your part." The pink cat-eyed girl explains, quite sarcastically.

"Right... uh... We are very sorry about the mix up. Welcome to Auradon Prep! I am King Ben and this is Mal." Ben announces as the band is still playing.

"Yeah, ok. I'm Claire. The rabbit is Will. Mad Hatter's daughter is Morgan. And last but very much least, Alice's boy there, that's Aaron." The girl that claimed she was Claire announces pointing to each one of her friends.

"Rude... I like her," Mal whispers to Evie. Claire glances at Mal.

"What's with the purple hair?"

"It's my hair color... What's with the pink hair?" Mal says.

"Oh, I don't know. I guess it came with the fur." She smirks. "You're Maleficent's daughter?"

"Yeah. What gave it away?" Mal asks, raising an eyebrow with a smile.

"Purple hair, purple eyes, dragon aesthetic. Obviously..." Claire flashes her pearly white teeth with a grin. Her eyes glimmer with a sort of mischievousness Mal recognized as something villain kids usually had.

"Mhmm, totally obvious," Mal mumbles.

"Well... It's nice to meet all of you! I'm sorry the Fairy Godmother couldn't be here to greet you today. There was a slight mix up down in the mines that needed her assistance." Ben explains with a smile on his face. He knew this was going downhill fast.

"Oh yeah sure. Great to meet you. We will just be going back now..." Aaron says turning back towards the limo. Claire puts a hand in front of him stopping him from going anywhere.

"We will stay... But where are the dorms? We have some stuff we want to put down first." Claire waves her hand and the trunk flips open and their bags come floating out. "And I also recommend no one touching our things. Some things are better left alone for only Wonderland inhabitants..." She fakes a sweet smile and the band stops playing as Ben, Mal, Jay, Carlos, and Evie all lead them inside to show them their dorms.

Morgan walks alongside Claire while Aaron and Will walk behind them talking about the weird scenery. They all stop abruptly once they get to the common room.

"Well..." Evie starts. "Before you all leave... I'm Evie and this is Carlos and Jay." Evie says, remembering they forgot to introduce themselves. Carlos' dog barks at the 4 standing in front of them.

"You have a dog here?" Claire asks.

"Yeah. You afraid of them?" He asks holding Dude closer to him, hiding him from Claire.

"No. Dogs are afraid of me." Claire hisses, already walking towards her dorm with the others following behind her.

"Well if you all need anything feel free to ask any of us! Umm..." Ben tries to say as they walk past. His offer goes completely unheard by the four Wonderland children.

"Well... They're nice." Ben says, smiling.

The four VKs all look at Ben like he was Dr. Facilier going crazy over his card games again. "Not really Ben. They might be nicer than we were... but not really." Mal sighs, putting a hand to her forehead.

Evie frowns. "This sucks. Totally thought they would be cooler. Like crazy cool—not like crazy mean!"

"It'll be fine guys. It's just weird coming here for the first time. We can all relate. Right?" Carlos adds.

They all nod and Ben realizes how different this might feel to them. This was just something Ben had done before, but the Wonderland kids had no idea why they were here.
