Claire and Morgan were on their way down the hall towards Mal's dorm. They knew this might be their one chance to get the mini 'camera' into Mal's dorm to see where the spell book is hidden. But since Will wasn't with them to place the hole himself, he gave the two girls a small vile that had a small speck inside which was of course, the camera. As soon as they stuck it against the wall or ceiling, it would go online.
Morgan knocks on Mal's dorm door. Evie opens it.
"Hi guys... Come on in. Just so you know, the boys are here too." Evie says cheerfully opening the door so they both can walk in.
"Oh... Well maybe next time we will come with Will and Aaron. That would be fun..." Claire says nudging Morgan with her elbow. This all would have gone a lot easier and quicker if they knew they could have brought Will along.
"Yeah... Maybe next time!" Evie says closing the door behind them.
Mal and Evie's dorm was just like their own, except a bit more pink... Everything in the room almost seemed pink. Mal and Evie definitely left their mark with the dark curtains and spray paint on the walls. But overall, nothing was much different.
Jay and Carlos sat on the ground leaning against the bed since Dude had apparently taken over the couch, along with Evie's many clothes designs. Morgan waves at them, still as perky as ever.
"So why did you want to come?" Mal says standing up from her bed, where she had been doing homework.
"Just to see what it's like to have friends... That aren't from Wonderland... And aren't complete lunatics." Claire says casually.
"Makes sense..." Jay adds.
"What's it like in Wonderland?" Evie says almost immediately.
Claire pauses and Morgan finishes for her. "Oh all you need to know about Wonderland is all in our parent's tale. The book isn't very popular but I'm sure you'll find it in the library..."
"How come there is a book about Wonderland?" Mal asks skeptically.
"Because anyone from Auradon would have no idea it even existed if there was no book. Wonderland is an entirely different place, in the sky basically, making it so it was like it never existed... You get the point." Claire says crossing her arms looking around the room for where to put the camera.
"Right... Do you think anything has changed from the book in Wonderland? I know for a fact the book is at least 30 years old... Wonderland can't be exactly the same as it was." Carlos asks standing up to go carry Dude from the couch.
"Well what did you read in the book?" Morgan asks smiling.
"Well... It said in the book Wonderland was a mystical place filled with magic, queens, men made of cards... And it was simply beautiful. It wasn't too evil, it wasn't too heroic. It was just Wonderland..." Carlos says thinking about what he thought of the book when he read it back in Dragon Hall on the Isle.
"Well then nothing's changed... Wonderland is just like the book had said." Morgan says her smile only the slightest bit fading, barely noticeable. Morgan and Claire share a short, quick, sad glance before turning back to the others.
"Wait so can you really turn into a cat?" Evie asks Claire in awe.
"Course... Didn't you see me when we got here?" Claire almost laughs.
"Not really... All I saw was the purple smoke. I was in the back..." Evie shrugs. "Can you do it now?"
Claire smirks then shrugs. "Why not..." Claire waves her hand and a fume of purple smoke fills around her in a circle. Then when the smoke disappears, a pink and purple striped cat is in her place.
"Cool... But not as cool as turning into a dragon." Mal says smirking. Evie gives her a mean look meaning 'Stop being rude.' Mal puts her hands up as if in surrender.
Claire, as a cat, jumps from the couch and onto the top of the bed roof. Claire swishes her tail against the wall strangely then hops back down turning into a person again in a fume of purple smoke.
Evie claps and so does Morgan. No one else does so Morgan and Evie both giggle.
"Well we should be going now..." Claire says suddenly.
"Really? But I didn't even get to bring out my tea!" Morgan giggles.
"Leaving so soon?" Mal asks, slightly confused.
"Yeah sorry... Will wanted us to pick up lunch on the way back to the dorms... He doesn't get out much." Claire smirks. Morgan nods thinking about how he never ever leaves the dorms, or his actual room in Wonderland.
"Well... Bye!" Claire says walking out. Morgan following behind her waving to everyone.
As soon as the door shuts, the four villain kids look at each other awkwardly.
"That was... Weird." Carlos says breaking the silence.
"What are we suppose to say about them? They are Wonderland kids afterall... They did admit they were crazy." Mal says crossing her arms.
"But it doesn't make sense..." Evie says sitting on the couch with her legs crossed, replaying in her mind, everything the Wonderland kids had said.
"I thought they weren't suppose to make sense?" Jay says laughing.
~~~
Claire and Morgan enter the boy's dorms excitedly.
"We did it!" Claire yells as they shut the door.
"Really?" Aaron says walking over to them.
"Yeah! It was a piece of cake!" Claire looks at Morgan funny.
"That's a real saying here in Auradon you know..." Claire says.
Morgan puts a hand over her mouth. "It's not a tea time saying either!"
Claire and Morgan both shrug and run around the room excited.
Will finally turns away from his computer. "I have good news and bad news... Good news is the camera is in a perfect position... Bad news is we have to wait till Mal needs to use her book, which might take a while."
Claire growls at this.
"Hey what happened to you two picking up lunch?" Aaron says laughing.
"Oh right..." Morgan says. "We forgot..."
"You said you would..." Will reminds the girls.
"Fine..." Morgan and Claire groan in unison as they both walk out of their dorm to bring back lunch for the four of them.
Soon, they would be going home.
