"WONDERLAND CHILDREN?!" Beast exclaims from inside his office. Aka, his 'beast cave.'

"Father, please. This is only my third royal proclamation. And the first two worked out fine—!" Ben begs his father before he is interrupted again.

"Yes Ben, but the first time Maleficent almost killed all of us AND the barrier was broken!"

"But the barrier being broken caused no harm! The villains only wanted to feel free..." Ben starts again.

"I still don't understand why you want me to say yes to this?! You have done nothing to deserve visitors from Wonderland—" Beast exasperates, and this time, Ben is the one who interrupts.

"Father! The children of Wonderland have done nothing to deserve being stuck on their island either! It is not a gift for me, it is a gift for them! Each proclamation, I have only given gifts! Gifts to the children of villains, gifts to the sidekick council, and now gifts to the children of Wonderland! It only seems fair!" Ben crosses his arms as he finishes and waits for his father's disapproval once again. But nothing comes blaring into his ears.

"I suppose... You are right... You are now the King after all, my son. I hope you and Mal have this all covered for the Wonderland children?" Beast says standing up from his office chair.

Ben was shocked. His father never bent that easily. Maybe being the new King did have his own benefits, or maybe he just settled a very good case. "Yes of course, father! Mal and I have this all planned out! It will be just as grand as the Villain kids' arrival last year! Oh—but without the chaos from last time. Heh..." Ben adds before walking out of the office in a hurry to tell Mal the news.

"Where have you been?" Carlos asks Mal as he plays his 'important' game on the TV, as usual. The son of Cruella DeVil, Carlos, was on that game 24/7 for the past year they have been in Auradon and he has proven to be the best in the kingdom.

"Oh you know. The usual. Out with Ben on a date." Mal shrugs as she closes the boy's dorm door behind her as she walks in. Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen, runs up to her as excited as ever. "And how was it?" She asks, squealing.

"It was amazing... He took me out on a picnic just like our first date... Back when I thought he was under a love potion." Mal smirks and Evie giggles. Mal was never ever going to let herself giggle or squeal after she accidentally did with Ben earlier. She always tried to keep herself composed, for a Villain's standards anyway.

"Will you tell Evie to stop obsessing over you and Ben being together? It's getting annoying," Jay, son of Jafar, growls from the corner by his bedside table where he is stacking trophies from tourney team wins.

"Oh yeah and will you ever stop cleaning or stacking your trophies?" Mal shoots back at him rudely.

"Knew that was coming..." Carlos mumbles just as he completes level 346 on his game. Who knew levels could go that high?

There is a loud and repetitive knocking at the door. Evie goes to answer it and when she opens it the person still knocking almost knocks on her head. It was Ben.

"Oh sorry Evie! Can I talk to Mal please?" Ben was already smiling really wide. Anyone could tell something had happened. Evie smiles and opens the door wider for Mal to come into view and walk over.

"Hey Ben. What's—" Mal asks before he cuts her off.

"My father said yes! He said we could bring the children of Wonderland here!" Ben says excitedly, hardly even trying to contain his glee.

"REALLY? He actually said yes?!" Mal asks, astonished. Mal jumps up and hugs him tightly.

"Woah. What just happened? Who is coming?" Jay asks. The three of them are all now standing near the door, watching the two jump up and down with excitement together.

"Weirdos..." Carlos mutters putting the controllers on the table next to him. Mal and Ben both walk in to explain their plan to bring the Wonderland kids to Auradon.

Ben smiles. "But here's the thing... Before I came here, I did a little bit of researching on family trees. It seems to be, the Wonderland folks are somewhat immortals, yes they can age and die of old age, but they age differently than we all do. They age about 3 years slower. So when we are 35 they consider themselves to be 32."

"Wait then none of them are our actual age? In looks at least?" Evie asks sitting on the couch next to Carlos and his dog Dude.

"Not exactly... They're technically the exact same age as us. They just have 3 years within every 15 years that they just 'skip' I guess. It's confusing. According to the books, they just take memory erasing potions after that gap year passes to act like the year never even happened." Ben shrugs, trying his best to explain an otherwise mind boggling concept.

The four Villain Kids just stand there. Carlos itches the top of his head. "So they act like they're 13?"

"Actually, no. There are a few that act our age because they're exempt from the potions. I forget the reasoning behind it, but it's there." Ben taps on his chin, unable to recall why this was a ruling in Wonderland.

All of this confusing information was starting to give him a headache. Of course Wonderland is like this.

"Alright," Evie sighs, "Then who are they? We're inviting those ones, right?"

"Exactly! The children exempt from these gap years are the children of the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, and Alice."

"So we're inviting the children of two animals, a hat addict, and a crazy person who deciding drinking a potion labeled 'Drink Me' was a good idea?" Jay asks laughing.

"Yes... But they will be better. I know it." Mal says smiling.
