"You know each other?" Both Bella and Jared gasped at the same time.
"Knew. Past tense." I snarled in disgust, hiding the shock and betrayal coursing through me.
"You should be old. With grey hair, in a home." The blonde vampire snarled back at me, stepping away from the muscular one.
"You should be dead. Raped and beaten by your fiancée." I hissed, grinning at the flash of pain which crossed her face.
"Rose, what is going on?" The muscular one asked.
"This is my darling younger sister. She was a witch. Who aged." She explained, her eyes not leaving mine.
"Then how..?" Quil trailed.
"Immortality does wonders." I grinned.
The wolves all stepped back from me, their faces hurt.
"Oh don't worry, I'm not one of the sparkly vampires you were created to kill. I'm a better one." I grinned.
Rosalie just glared and no one continued the conversation, they just scheduled a place and the times they were going to train.
I promised them I would return in two weeks, with or without friends of mine.
"Come on guys! I'm still me!" I moaned, chasing the wolves who were trying their hardest to get away from me.
"You're a vampire Katrina! A monster!" Quil yelled.
"A monster? You're one to talk!" I snapped.
"We don't kill innocent people! Jake hissed.
"Have you heard of any dead bodies lately? The last human I killed, or even fed from, was back when I was a baby vampire!" I yelled.
"I believe her." Jared shrugged.
I smiled at him as Quil and Jake finally smiled and admitted defeat.
They left me when we reached my home, they promised they would come see me in the morning before I left.
As soon as I had stepped foot into the house, I could hear the three wolves howl, signaling a meeting.
I knew just what would be the cause of the meeting would be about.
As I sat in my house, which looked barer than it had when I arrived, I tried to wrap my head around the whole idea of Rose.
She was a vampire. Here. Just up the road. She had new parents, new siblings and her muscular vampire. Emmett. She had been alive this whole time. Over seventy years tell her and she hadn't bothered to come looking for me. To tell her family that she was alive, to end the heartache of not only her family, but the entire town.
I always imagined what would happen if I ever saw Rose again. How we would hug and cry and catch up on everything we missed. None of that happened. When I saw her standing there, with a whole new life, the only feeling that I felt was betrayal. And disgust. It took all of my strength to not rip her head off.
