"What is going on?!" Demanded a child like voice as five sets of feet crowded around us and the door slammed shut.

"Shut it Seth!" Barked a new female voice,

"Don't tell me what to do, Leah!" Shouted the first voice.

"Will you two kids shut up! Sam, what are you doing?" It was Paul, his voice full of concern for his friend.

Sam couldn't speak because my am was leaning heavily on his neck, not allowing him to breathe very well or speak.

"He got into a little argument." Jared informed the others.

"Wait, Katrina?" Asked a voice, Membry, Zembry or something?

"Got it one Embry." Joked Jacob.

Embry. Close enough.

"Katrina, come on, get off him." Ordered Paul in a friendly tone.

I carefully lifted myself off Sam and backed away from them all. I ran my tongue along my teeth. They were shrinking. Good.

"How did you manage to pin Sam?" Asked a boy I had never seen before. He didn't look as toned as the others, he also wasn't as tall.

"Easy. You werewolves aren't that strong." I told them, a small smile playing on my lips.

They all just looked at me in wonder. Clearing my throat, I announced that I was leaving and started the long haul home.

I heard footsteps behind me and I got ready to attack, then I heard his voice.

"You're definitely something aren't you?" Asked Paul.

"What can I say?" I laughed.

"Sam told me what happened. He also said you're cool to chill with us now." He told me.

"So whenever I want to 'chill' with someone, all I got to do is attack them? Great."

"Yeah." He laughed, me soon joining in with him.

We were talking as we walked home. He was a nice person to speak to, he was a good laugh.

As my house came into view we slowed down, so we could talk longer.

"Katrina?"

"Yeah Paul?"

"Do you want to catch a movie tomorrow?"

I stared at him. Did he mean as friends? Or on a date? I don't know.

"Sure. That sounds great." I smiled at him.

When I got in the house, I went into my bedroom. I cracked open the lock on my trunk that I keep chained up. I took one of the bags that were inside out, before locking it all back up. I never had time to go hunting before I started work, so a blood bag was going to have to suffice.

As I was walking back from work in the early hours of the morning, I heard a 'pop' noise from round the corner. I stopped in my tracks and leaned up against the wall, in the shadows so I was hard to find. I saw a tall female come around the corner, she had bright pink hair that sat above her shoulders. She had a cape on, and a hand in her pocket.

"Katrina? I know you're here." She spoke. The voice stirred something in my memory.

"Just come out and see me!" She called into the opposite direction of where I was standing.

As she had her back turned, I crept up behind her, if she turned around, she would knock right into me. I stood there, careful not to breathe on her and waited.
