(A/N: This chapter is for Embry Call's kid AKA you are working for the Volturi and it will describe the stuff that you and Quintin will do together during your honeymoon. I hope you all enjoy the chapter and here we go!!)
You and Quintin are both awake as you both yawned together as you are stretching your body as Quintin stretched as well as the clicks and ticks from his bones made you giggle a bit as you both stretched a little bit. It is only the first day as you both got up and begin to shower up together as the warm water steamed on your bodies. Once you both are bathed and put on some clothes within your suitcase, Quintin growls softly as you giggled at him.
"Whatcha growling for babe?" You asked
"Today is working for Volturi Day and we are supposed to spend time." Quintin groaned
"Yeah I am not happy too but we have each other's back and besides working for the Volturi for 3 weeks won't be that bad. As long as they get use to us, then we will be A-OK." You said
"Alright ready to go? It's Day 1." Quintin said
You nodded as you wore an F/C shirt with some shorts and some flats while Quintin wore a buttoned-up shirt and some shorts with some sneakers. Just as you both are about to leave, the door knocked as you went over and opened the door to see Demetri and Felix with their hoods on their heads.
"The Masters needed you both to come over." Demetri said
"We are on our way to see them anyway." You said
"Let's go." Felix said
You and Quintin both leave together as you both used your wolf telepathy links to block out your family members so that way you both don't want to be interrupted. As you both went inside the palace, Felix and Demetri both stopped at the doors as you both heard the chatters of people inside the palace.
"Feeding?" You whispered
"Yes. David told me that they feed off of people. Luring them." Quintin said
"Stay here." Demetri said
"We will do that." Quintin nodded
As Demetri and Felix both come inside, the door closes as the sound of it being locked came in.
"Here comes the screams in 5...4...3...2..." You said
The screams of the people came as Quintin let out a shiver as you let out a shudder, knowing that the Volturi are feeding off of people who are being lured.
"I'd bet you that our first day would be cleaning up the corpses. Ugh." Quintin said
"Yeah. Have I cleaned my room? Yes. Have I ever cleaned corpses? No. I'm not a fumigator in this case." You said
As the screams stop, Demetri and Felix both opened the doors as you and Quintin came inside as you let out a curtsy and Quintin bowed as a way to show respect.
"Ahh Quintin and Y/N, we are finish with the feeding. Today is your first day." Aro said
"They shouldn't have come in this moment of feeding." Caius hissed
"They are here for three weeks. Today is only Day 1." Aro said
"Yes, it is Caius. It's only Day 1 for these two shapeshifters." Marcus said in a raspy voice
"At least one doesn't call us dogs." Quintin thought while looking at you
You nodded as you both as Aro looked at you and Quintin.
"Now clean up the mess. There's a bunch of corpses." Aro said
"We know how your feeding time is Aro, sir." Quintin said
"You do not talk to the King!" Caius hissed
"Brother. My apologies but how do you know what our feeding time is like?" Aro asked
"Simple. You used someone to lure saying that they have won the 'contest' when in actuality, all the 'food' came to you and your coven, and you all have a feeding frenzy. Almost like wolves going after a wild boar and the boar gets surrounded by Apex predatory machines." You explained
"Smart. Now clean up. We have some things to discuss, and we will know if you miss a little spot." Aro said
As Marcus, Aro and Caius begin to chat, Quintin look at you as you look back at Quintin.
"I'll take off the drainage and you place every single corpse of those humans." You said
"Let me do the drain." Quintin said
Quintin went over to the drainage and use both of his hands to pick it up and moved it with ease as you pick up every single corpse from the floor and bring it over to the drain hole and throw them in. Quintin joined along as the blood started to stain on his hands as he started to feel a tiny bit nauseous but let it subside. Once every corpse is in the drain, you started to scrub the blood off of the marbled floor while Quintin poured the acid in the drain to which it dissolves the bodies into nothing before he placed the drain back on. You are finish scrubbing the blood off before Quintin mopped the floor to make it extra clean. Once the floor is dry, Aro looked and nodded with impressed.
"No blood spots. Well done." Aro said
"Thank you." You said
"You deserve a 15-minute break. So go out and stretch." Aro said
"Thank you Aro." You and Quintin said
As you both leave the castle to get some air and stretch, you both went to the garden and sit on the bench as Quintin look at you.
"Man I smell like a corpse." Quintin said while gagging
"You can actually smell the decay. I know you were this close to vomiting." You said with a smirk
"Yeah babe. On the plus side is 15-minute break which means, exploring the place." Quintin said
"Let's just chat for now. Besides, we will explore after when we are finish working on our weeks. Our job of being with these royalty bloodsuckers come first and I am still mad at Scarlett." You said
"Benjamin called me." Quintin said
"What did our wolf helper say about this?" You asked
"Benjamin was saying in his voice 'Who the fuck think it's a good idea to be in Volterra' and he even says 'I hope two Twins don't give you a huge pain in the ass'." Quintin said
"Trust me I know who he is talking about. Jane and Alec Volturi AKA The Witch Twins." You said
"Wait... you know them?" Quintin gasped
"Remember last week when we first came in? Dwayne and the others told me about each of the guards and what their powers are like, and I will definitely not be with Jane. She can be a huge pain LITERALLY!" You said
"Maybe working with the guards can be our next day." Quintin shrugged
"Or training and boy, this will be just like our family only this time it's with bloodsuckers." You said
After your 15-minute break, you both went back inside the throne room and you both did some more chores for your first day which included of organizing the archives, cleaning the studies and even fixing the library. Within the next couple of days, you along with Quintin have been doing different chores and even having breaks by reading some native books to ease the life and cuddling together while exploring a bit. When the 7th day came, you both came inside the throne room as you along with Quintin came inside before bowing to the Kings.
"Quintin and Y/N, what a pleasant surprise. Today is your final day of the week and next week is working with the guards which means you two will be separate duties and we will choose who you both are going to be with." Aro said
"I hope I can be with Demetri. He's polite." Quintin muttered
"More than being with me? Rude." You smirked
"Now you two, I have to separate you two on the final day. Y/N, you are going to help Marcus with his studies." Aro said
"Come with me Y/N." Marcus said
"Yes Marcus." You said
"Be careful my sexy Beta." Quintin said
As you leave with Marcus to his studies, Quintin look at the remaining two as he look at Aro and Caius.
"Quintin, be prepared. You are going to be with Caius in his studies." Aro said with a childish smile
"Oh great. I have to work with a sadistic and ruthless bloodthirsty person who called me and my wife a DOG on the first way here!" Quintin growled
"Come dog." Caius hissed
Quintin send out a link to you to which you let out a soft but low growl which is animalistic. As you arrived at Marcus's studies, you begin to organize the archives as his studies are filled with a bunch of papers.
"Y/N, how long have you been in a relationship with Quintin?" Marcus asked
"Ever since we were kids. I met him when I was 7 years old and saved him from being bullied. He have been my helper and my protector even though my family are very protective of me." You said
"That's how familial bonds can be. Your bond with your family is filled with protection and dare I say, can be protective to you. Is that true?" Marcus asked
"Absolutely correct. They have been protective of me, and it can be annoying at times." You said with a chuckle
"Ahh... have you finished the archives?" Marcus asked
"Yes I did. Anything else you need Marcus sir?" You asked
"Can you fix the robes?" Marcus asked
"Yes sir." You said
Meanwhile, Quintin is organizing Caius's studies as Quintin tried to keep his cool as Quintin is organizing the robes.
"Why don't you be useful DOG and organize the papers?" Caius hissed
"Let me finish organizing the robes." Quintin said
"Forget the robes and organize the papers you mutt." Caius growled
Quintin went over and begin to organize the papers as Caius keep a close eye to which Quintin look at him.
"Is there a problem?" Quintin asked
"I don't know why you and your wife are here and I should have kicked you out of the palace without Aro interfering." Caius hissed
"Look Caius, just because you are ruthless and ambitious person doesn't mean for you to act the way you are acting. Aro told me and my wife Y/N about that while we are working, and Y/N and I are only working with you for three weeks. Three weeks and that's that." Quintin said while being annoyed
"Your WIFE and you are MUTTS! Dogs!" Caius hissed
Quintin tried to stay cool but he let out an animalistic snarl but he take a deep breath and organize the papers.
"Get out of my sight!" Caius hissed
"Fine. I'm going to check my wife Y/N and see if she is ok." Quintin hissed
Quintin got out as Caius slammed the door shut to which Aro went over to Caius and begin to scold him. Meanwhile, you are finish with fixing up the bed and noticed a picture of Didyme.
"Is that your wife?" You asked
"Yes... Didyme is my whole world. She was my everything and she is Aro's sister. She have a gift of happiness induction and we have been together." Marcus sighed
"What happened to..." You asked
You heard a knock as Marcus look at the door.
"Enter." Marcus said
Quintin opened the door before bowing to Marcus as you came over to Quintin.
"Are you ok?" You asked, concern in your eyes
"No... Caius got on my nerves big time. Ugh he gave me a huge headache. I was this close to phasing. This close." Quintin said while calming down
"There is a reason why Caius have a mistrust with wolves. You see he was attacked by a werewolf and he wanted to get rid of every single werewolf. This is why he have a distrust in Children of the Moon. Since you and Quintin are shapeshifters, you both are nothing like the children of the moon." Marcus explained
"Ohh that's why Caius is calling my wife and I dogs. Anyways, Y/N are you finish?" Quintin asked
"Well he was going to tell me about his past love life." You said
"I'll tell you before we go back to the thrones. You see Didyme is my lover, and we have a very big strong bond. She made me very happy, and we were having ready to have our own life together but tragically she was killed. It torn my heart in so many ways and I have become the depressed apathetic king. I even tried to end it all, but I can't. I have been with the Volturi since then." Marcus said
"Ohh... I'm so sorry. Is that why you have been so apathetic and depressed? All the pain you are feeling?" You asked
"Yes." Marcus said
"Oh my... I am so sorry that happened to you Marcus. Losing the love of your life that's hard. If Y/N died, I would be so upset and cried all the time." Quintin said
"You two have the most bond that you can ever said even though you both are shapeshifters. We are both finished for the day." Marcus said
You nodded as you and Quintin both went back to the throne room as Aro along with Caius are there as Marcus sit on his throne.
"You two did excellent jobs on your first week. Now remember, next week is guard week and be prepared to see who you are working with." Aro said
"Yes Aro." You and Quintin said
You and Quintin both leave the palace together before going back to the hotel for a nice dinner combined with a spa day. As you both got on your pajamas, your cellphone rings as it is a facetime from your friend Johnny and Susie as you answered with a smile.
"Hey Johnny!! Hey Susie!!" You smiled
"Sup my two friends? We heard you have been in Volterra thanks to Scarlett and Natasha haven't allow Scarlett to have sex with her." Johnny chuckled
"Hey! Don't bring Natasha into this." Quintin laughed
"First off, working with the leech royalty. How did it go?" Susie asked
"First day, we cleaned the throne room for feeding time and the next couple of days we have done more chores like fixing the library, organizing archives and even other things." You smiled
"How's Day 7?" Amy asked
"Oh I have a HORRIBLE DAY 7! My wife Y/N is lucky." Quintin groaned
"Lucky? How?" Sonia asked while giggling
"I have to work with Marcus. He lived in solitude and in isolation, but he ordered me around a little bit but is very reasonable. Quintin got the ruthless blonde Caius." You said while smirking
"Oh dear god. Quintin have to work with Caius Volturi. The most ruthless, ambitious, sadistic ruler of the three kings? You should have switched." Johnny laughed
"That's what I was planning to say! Y/N and I should have switched or even better BE WITH ARO! I was this close to phasing! This close since he was getting on my nerves." Quintin said while groaning
"Anyways, we just call to check up on you and see how the work went. Have a goodnight." Johnny smiled
"Tell our families that we said Hi and tell Scarlett that we are not giving you our honeymoon package." You said while giggling
"Bye bye!! We love you!!" Johnny and Susie smiled
You hung up the phone and place it to charge before you both fall asleep as you both have an alright week with the Volturi and hope that Week 2 won't be that bad.
