Mr Matthew’s P.O.V
I watched sadly as Bonnie stood and bolted from the room. ‘She’s realised’ I thought sadly. It seemed she was revolted by the idea of us being mates. I never thought our meeting would be like this. Then again to be fair I hadn’t expected to be mates with a student. But ah well. There had to be a reason fate had given me her. I just had yet to figure out that reason. ‘Go after her!’ my wolf demanded but as much as I wanted to do as he said I couldn’t. I had a responsibility to my students. The same students that were now staring in confusion at me. Typical humans. Oblivious to the shifters around them. Oh well I guess ignorance is bliss. For our kind anyway. Prevents us being hunted by humans. No we just get hunted by our own kind. Damn rogues!
Realising I hadn’t actually moved as I was still infact staring at the door to which Bonnie had exited I quickly shook my head of my thoughts and my wolf’s and turned to address the class. “It’s okay class. I will deal with her. Everyone pack away your things. It’s been nice meeting you all and I look forward to working with you” I said in my monotone voice as I watched the few students left pack up while muttering things I didn’t wish to listen in on. No I just wanted my mate but she’d bolted so fast I hadn’t had time to retaliate. ‘God damn it!’ I thought as I sighed and sat at my pathetic excuse for a desk. The bell chose that moment to ring making the loneliness drill through my bones with the sounds. Because that sound meant she wasn’t coming back. Not today anyway. This thought had my heart breaking in two. God I had it bad for this girl and I hardly even knew her! Sighing I ran a hand through my hair. ‘How the hell am I suppose to get through the rest of the day knowing she’s somewhere in this building?’ I thought sadly as I waited for my next lot of students to arrive after break.
Evie’s P.O.V
As the bell rung for the end of the lesson I couldn’t wait to meet back up with Bonnie and get the gossip on the new teacher. Because rumours have it he’s smoking hot! If this is the case she is one lucky bitch. What I wouldn’t give to have a hot teacher for once. If he is hot it would almost make me want to take photography. Almost. I mean god I’m not that desperate I thought laughing to myself as I walked to meet Bonnie. I was actually surprised I hadn’t ran into her yet actually. She always usually found me a lot quicker than I found her. Apparently not today. Which is typical when I want gossip from her. ‘Maybe that’s why she’s taking her time’ my wolf said and I laughed nodding. This gained me some funny looks from some stuck up teenage girls I just rolled my eyes. They were just jealous because they didn’t have a wolf to talk to. They just didn’t have my awesome sauce abilities to do such things as shape shift! Losers! I thought laughing.
Reaching the photography corridor I was surprised to find it dead. Not a single person seemed to be around. Which seemed strange to be honest. I mean there were students everywhere at all times. So where was everyone? More to the point where was Bonnie? I was so lost. She was never this late. I couldn’t help but worry even though a more childish part of my mind was making up strange scenarios that involved Bonnie and a certain new teacher. Though when the images became sexually disturbing I shook my head and plodded onwards. Disturbed where my own thoughts had taken me about my own friend! Only one thought came to mind on this one… ‘Eww!’
The further down the corridor I walked the more I was suddenly aware of an Alpha. ‘Strange. What is an Alpha doing in school? Oh god I hope it isn’t Zylen coming to check on Bonnie and I’ I thought worriedly as I continued walking. I chewed nervously on my bottom lip as I did so, nerves getting me worked up. The pull of the Alpha was so strong. I don’t think ive ever felt it so strongly before. It was odd. I followed the pull none the less, because if it was Zylen our Alpha I might find Bonnie there. That and it would explain her absence. Reaching the room to which the Alpha pull was coming from I shifted from foot to foot nervously contemplating opening the closed door, because come to think of it I couldn’t sense Bonnie’s presence. But then again the Alpha’s presence was so strong it could be masking her. Unsure what to do I carried on shifting from one foot to the other. “Please stop dancing outside my door and either enter or go away” a husky voice said from the opposite side of the door. My knees suddenly went weak. Who the hell? Nobody I had met in this school had a voice like that. Trust me I would remember a voice that lush! That meant only one thing. It had to be Bonnie’s new photography teacher. And if that was the case then that meant…
